Jun 21, 2004 15:58:48 The thread on the stats of Iggwilv was great and I'm sure to use them in an upcoming session. Of more immediate interest to me is Lord Robilar. Does anybody have a Lord Robilar they like? I was thinking of making up something like a fighter between 23rd and 27th level, high charisma along with other normal fighter stats. Do people see anything against canon in this approach?

Also, any word on magic items Lord Robilar regularly possesses? I'm aware of the flying carpet that was made into a poncho by his cohort while at ToEE.

Jun 21, 2004 16:27:59 There are some old 1st Edition stats from Oerth Journal 7 that I'll post below, but other than that you might have to wait for Rob Kuntz next adventure for Dungeon magazine which is supposed to explore Lord Robilar's current doings more closely, and will likely have a stat block for him somewhere in it.

Lord Robilar: "The Master of Dragons"
Played By: Robert J. Kuntz (created in 1972)
Class/Level: Fighter/19th level
Abilities: Str: 18/78, Int: 11, Wis: 16, Dex: 16, Con: 18, Chr:
16, hp: 117
Race: Oeridian
Alignment: Lawful Evil
Items: Ring of spell turning, girdle of storm giant strength,
+3 longsword, +3 plate mail, +3 shield, +1 bow, flying
carpet, ring of invisibility, ring of regeneration ...

And HERE is the link to the Oerth Journal I had seen this one. There's a lot more good stuff about him there toward the end, more than would be realistic to repost here.

Jun 21, 2004 16:59:14 Lord Robilar is featured, in all of his v.3.x stas in WotC's Epic Level Handbook.

And, yes, Robilar is in the 1980 The Rogues Gallery. He is on page 46 and is listed as a Fighter 15 with a whole host of magic items.

Lord Robilar's stats are accurate. It was only Gary and Ernie Gygax's characters that had made up stats, and even those aren't too far from the mark since tha authors had some experience with the characters.

Thanks for the replies. I guess its time to shell out some money for the Epic level books. Its about time anyway, since the characters in my campaign are getting up there in level.
