Maybe it's odd...but I was pleased to see that at least Justin Whalin would be back for the second movie.

But really...Paris Hilton!?!

If the DL movie ever gets off the ground, I hope they don't make such a horrid decision.

Brim you KNOW why she is being included in the flick. He knows his LAST movie sucked so he figures he can get some lonely, pimply faced people to come see the NEW ONE by adding some booty shots.

On another note, Just in case you have not heard some of the new Eberron copies are pretty crunked up. Check my sig to see what the deal is.

That's not surprising, Crap calls to Crap.

Remember we already got a Wayne brother in D&D so this almost makes sense.

The first D&D movie soiled the honor of our beloved gaming tradition. They can't possibly hurt the hobby any further.

Well...Silver's still in charge...but hopefully, this time, they'll get a director who knows what they're doing. When you take the actors that are in the first movie and get the performances that they did...that is the directors fault.

Which is too bad...that movie/story had such potential. Which is why I had such high hopes for numero two...since there seemed to be just as many people "in the industry" that were upset at the outcome as we are (cause really...there are probably a lot of Hollywooders that were once D&D players)

Anyway...has there been any good news on this or the DL movie front lately? I haven't heard anything personally.

Brim, we can always just pretend the Lord of the Ring trilogy was our long awaited D&D movies. I mean, it practically is more d20 D&D than the actual Tolkien story.

Well since DnD was basically based off of the Tolkien stuff I always considered it part of the DnD clan.

Closing this thread as A) it's not Dragonlance, B) there's already a thread on it in the D&D General Boards, and C) I believe in warding off evil spirits. ;)
