I can' seem to find the starting money for the non-PHB classes in the DLCS (i.e noble).

Any idea where it's hidden?? or should I just use the starting cash for a fighter?

Also, as I'll be playing a Solamnic, is there a good place I can find a list of Solamnic names, so I have an idea of how to make one up?

Thanks

PS - Clinton, I'll e-mail you soon.

This information, missing from the DLCS, is in the Dragonlance DM's Screen booklet.

I think it's in the DLDM Screen booklet, although I might be wrong (Edit: probably not). As for Solamnic names, go for Something Uth Somethingelse. Have them sound like Derrick, Gregor, Liam... Old english type names.

I think I read somewhere that there were two types of Solamnic name. There were the family names, such as Brightblade and Crownguard, and the Uth names, with the Uth meaning pretty much 'child of'. There's also some overlap - Gregor Uth Matar had the child Kitiara Uth Matar, there's the Castle Uth Wistan, which presumably doesn't change it's name every generation or so. There are also the occasional places like the diCaela Castle, but having a di-name shows ancient Ergothian roots (see the Castle diThon and Thonvil in Ergoth).

I think Bob Uth Bobdar is this board's typical Solamnic.

Edit: OK, Cam does this a lot. Is there a page we don't know about that says where people are typing replies to threads? It might explain why his posts are usually so short.

Bob's my own iconic Solamnic name, but you're welcome to use it. It's kind of silly, however!

And no, there's no way of telling if somebody else is responding to a thread, but keeping it short does make it less likely that you'll be doing so while that's going on.

Cam,
thanks for the info, is there any chance you can let me know what the noble's starting cash is cause I haven't been able to order a DLCS DM screen yet (can't get one till next pay day, which is Thursday Week.)

Also, is the starting money for other classes different too?

Thanks.

Oh, and thanks pddisc for the info on solamnic names. Will help me choose one.

For the mystic, I took the cleric's starting cash. Does this sound reasonable?
