Hello everybody,
i just received Dungeon 112 so i am very happy today. Again congrats to all who participated and realized this scenario (wich is much much more insteresting than lot of TSR and Wotc i bought 5 times this price)
But this is not the purpose of this thread.

I am used to involve Olidamara for romance or love stories (and more) with pc and npcs, because i find this god seems the most appropriate, but maybe i don't exactly know the greyhawk pantheon, do you (dm or players) use others gods?
I am not speaking of fertility , family and so on, just about romance, pleasure and passion.
Thank you.

Lastai, goddess of pleasure (Check out the Book of Exalted Deeds).

WTF?

Olidammara is NOT a god of love--I can see seduction as part of his portfolio, but above all, he loves a good time.

Lastai is not a GH deity. Pick up a copy of the Living greyhawk Gazetteer & you'll find a host of deities not found in the PHB.

The deity you're looking for is Myhriss, goddess of love & beauty.

Calm down Rob

Remember that the GH pantheon can be daunting for those who know it only through the few deities used in the PHB 3E.

No one has even to buy the LG Gazetteer (but I encourage everyone to! ;) ) because all the gods are online already. Simply click here and have fun

Man, we really need a FAQ thread up these boards...

Myrhiss that's it! thank you both.
I used Olidamara cause he was the "least inappropriate" god, and currently i don't have my greyhawk books cause i moved and nearly all my books are in a card box.
But, as i remember, there's no info about Myrhiss ( apart one line in the gods listing and domains) no?
If you know where can i find some (i have all books from 1st and 2nd abou greyhawk), thank you!

Cool thank you Mortepierre.
When i read my first thread i realized i haven't been clear, i didn't want to speak about "love" with little pink hearts and flowers but i didn't want my thread to be put in the XXXX section!
About "debauchery" do you think Myrhiss is acceptable? (the kind of god/godess who would have been prayed in "Conan the barbarian" when they enter in the bad guy lair, where all are drinking, half-naked and so on ...)

If debauchery is what you want, Olidammara (CN) is certainly more befitting than the goddess of romance. A quick skim of the list makes me wonder if Syrul wouldn't be too bad. Her portfolio is about lies, treachery and false promises. Imagine the possibilities there in the morning.

In the end I think a demon cult would work better, and Graz'zt would be my reccomendation (Book of Vile Darkness will help you emmensly).

Don't mention it ;)

No, I don't think "debauchery" would be appropriate for a "regular" cult of Myhriss. If you're thinking about the FR's Sharess, forget it as the two are as apart as deities can be.

That said, nothing like a small heretical cult of a NG goddess to liven things up, eh?

Or, you could use a cult worshipping a "disguised" version of, say, Keptolo. Drows and orgies make a great pair :D
