I'm currently running Fires of Dis and would like to start planning for our next adventure. I want to run another PS module but one that is based on an upper plane as a change of pace from adventuring on Baator.

Are there any good Planescape adventures that take place on an upper plane?

Two of my players have also just unnexpectedly looted a Book of Vile Darkness from a mini quest I just ran. I wasn't planning for this but it now seems like a good hook for a side quest...getting rid of the book. So any published PS module that I could work this new side quest in would be nice too.

Any ideas?

The Deva Spark is short, but I find it very entertaining. It's a very good adventure that starts out in the Abyss, but soon moves on to Elysium (if I remember correctly). It involves a good share of moral ambiguity, which is always good in my opinion. It's about death, birth and rebirth.

I don't think you should have any difficulty about running your side quest either, even if you have to stretch the plot a bit.

The Well of Worlds has one of my favorite Baatorian adventures buts it for really low levels. You'll need to really beef up encounters if you use it, but has a number of terrific sights to use. The end requires the PCs steal a key to Sigil out from under the "nose" of Bel's citadel and then run for it.

...just because it isn't easy doesn't mean it won't be fun. =)

"Something Wild" takes place in Sigil, Carceri and the Beastlands. There are a couple of short advantures in "The Well of Worlds" that take place in the upper planes.
