My advice- Paizo got a bit wrong with the conversion, but a lot of it can be utlized- as far as I'm concerned, its not the Dark Sun Bible, and David Noonan did a decent job on it. I say, as a DM, do your homework, keep the best elements from the old, and use what sounds good from the new- personally, I chose to keep the original abilty score adjustments for the various races- including the Half Giant's original size (which was about equivalent to a mid-size car), and the HG's variable alignment- which provides the best challenge for RPing. The paladin didn't stick around either. Your other best bet is to download the conversion booklet from 2E to 3E, and again, more homework. Best of luck to you. By the way, my wife is from Manila as well.
