#1zombiegleemaxJul 12, 2004 21:34:52 | It strikes me that the new book does a fantastic job on creating new rules for playing Planescape in 3.5... Not complete, but fantastic.... ...And a poor job bringing in the flavor. Right. Means we need another book, of flavour. Or, more realistically, a 'flavour guide' made by fans and downloadable online, to fill up the gaps. Somewhere in the middle, we could look for a regular online feature (like the Mind' Eye thing Psionics gets) for the Planar book... That would be pretty sweet, too. Until then, new book rules, old book everything else. Sigh, but only small sigh. |

#3sildatorakJul 13, 2004 10:32:42 | Ah, mimir.net. It is a great source for putting a personal spin on your campaign, IMO. I have taken a few things from it, but left more untaken. I almost hope that my players will try to cheat and end up believing some of the stuff on there that I've decided is utter screed. |

I can't decide whether it's a good thing since it means less rules-work for the planewalker crew or whether it's bad because they're rewriting rules from a Prime view which doesn't help planar campaigning. |
