It just struck me.....there are a lot of things happening on Krynn with all the new novels being released......How will the game world reflect this....will we have an every so often gazetteer add on to the AoM supplement to account for the new developments on Krynn....such as Coryn the white robe.....or Mina's new stats as a cleric of Chemosh...or the events in the end of the Minotaur Wars........so many new things.....and the changes that the KoD modules will bring to Ansalon.......how will this be reflected in the game products? Aaargh! Someone please relieve my brain!!

I could imagine material not included in the big books could be released as web enhancements (such as Mina´s stats or Coryn´s stats, unless his is included in the ToHS...). But web enhancements would be up to Sov Press...

I dunno.....Id kind of like to see the stuff in small booklets released quarterly.....something like the legend of the lance.....just small sourcebooks.....or maybe a small book once a year to update the world......the Age of Mortals Gazetteer...The Herald's News....something like that

What the hell?!?! Just going by Mina's state of mind and actions at the end of Vanished Moon, she loathes all the returned gods with a passion, Chemosh included. They conspired to strip her beloved Queen Takhisis of divine power, and stood by while the fallen goddess was slain. I pictured a revised Mina as either a mystic, or some kind or ur-priest stealing divine energy from the gods, but a Cleric of Chemosh? Where is this confirmed?

I think it was on the back cover of a Dragon magazine or something like that...someone mentioned it in another thread.

Yup, this was finally revealed in an ad in Dragon magazine.

It makes perfect sense. Mina had an affinity for the undead with the War of Souls as it was.

Seriously everyone.....sorry about that.....it didnt strike me to hit the spoiler alert for some reason.....sorry about that. As far as the new modules go.....I havent really gone through too much of them at all.....really Ive only seen the sample chapter that was put out months ago...So, I take it that with the way the adventure is going that Mina may indeed show up in it?

Let's hope so then my players will have the opportunity to kill her and I get the opportunity to role play her as the moronic fanatic she is.

No, so far I don't see any reason for her to show up. I was just hoping she would so we could listen to LoI complain about something new for 4 months. :D

Or better yet READ, since it is impossible to "listen" to a message board , your numerous pitiful attempts to BAIT LoI into an arguement. ;)

"Numerous!?!" Come on...give me a little credit. This is the first one in a long time.

And when did you start refering to yourself in the third person?

Well, I hope she doesn't try to raise Takhisis....*fingers-crossed*
I actually just got a copy of the Citadel of light Box i got off ebay in the mail today. As I was perusing it, I was surprised to see the writeup for a younger Mina... all this time I thought she was a new creation...

She might try and do that...which I wouldn't have a problem with, given who Mina is and all. But I doubt she'll be successful, since Margaret is the one writing this book...and she has said numerous times that Takhisis is dead and gone and that we don't have to worry about her coming back.

Although....Id have to admit.....the only way I would like to see Takhisis back is as Mina could bring her back now.....as an undead villian......not a goddess mind you, but something of a lich queen.......Holy Hell! I just had an idea......what if Takhisis were brought back as a sentient undead creature and took over leadership of the Knights of Neraka herself?

I´m really split in this one...on one side I really think she should stay dead. She´s terrorized Krynn for millennia...it´s time to take a deep breath and let someone else get all the fun. On the other hand the Knights of Takhisis REALLY need to get back to their old glory. And the return of their godess might just do the trick...

But thats the catch......she shouldnt return as their goddess, but as a former mortal recreated as an undead creature...I dont want to see her doing the goddess thing, but I would like her to have some interaction with the KoN

Heh! Takhi´d go absolutely ballistic when she finds out that she answers to one of her former subjects! Assuming she did become the leader of the KoN this could lead to some kind of conflict between the Knighthood and the church of Chemosh.

Welcome to the Life and Times of Steve Miller, the man who created Mina, but nobody knows who the heck is he, because nobody bothered to buy the SAGA game material.

As far fetched as this may sound, maybe Mina would become Takhisis' replacement in the Heavens (or the Abyss) as the new Queen of Darkness. The gap left by both her and Palidine may need to be filled by others in order to maintain the balance.

Crazy I know, but just a thought.

I bought every SAGA material there was. And I didn´t particularly like the rules. But I think the SAGA material is great reference material for my 3rd edition campaigns. Especially the Palanthas book. It really helped me in a couple of campaigns set in that city. So a recommendation for those of you who don´t have the SAGA material: If you can afford it buy it.

I really hope Takhisis stays dead. One of the things that I've always liked about Dragonlance is that when a major character dies, that character stays dead, with a few exceptions like Tas and Raistlin. For Takhisis to come back would cheapen her whole death, much like a return of Sturm or Steel or Kitiara would cheapen their deaths.

Besides, if Takhisis comes back it'd smack too much of the Forgotten Realms (can anyone say Bane?).

Doesn't he have a website called Steve Miller's Band or something like that ?
