(Punctuation is a good thing!)

My favorite is my first!

Kiro Dorova, diviner. Hobbled by a fever as a child but saved by a practicioner of ambient magic, Kiro aspired to be a White Robe wizard. He - as yet - hasn't forgotten the debt he owes, however, and has a soft spot for mystics and sorcerers. As such he urges the Orders to parley with sorcerers to encourage and assist with the re-establishment of Palin's Academy as a means of controlling and regulating wild magic, rather than outright warfare.

He's a diviner, and in combat he's not terribly helpful, and tends to let his older sister Katja (an accomplished swordswoman) to the dirty work. He aspires to become a sage, a diplomat, and a scholar, rather than a warrior.

He's currently in Port Balifor in a Key of Destiny campaign, run by Cam Banks.

My favorite character has to be a Knight of Takhisis (Knight of the Lily to be exact) named Gareth Ravenmantle. He´s actually the reason for my username.

I played him eight or so years ago in a huge campaign set during the Chaos War. I´ve never had so much fun roleplaying as I had with him.

His party members were a human Knight of the Skull, a fatherless Hylar dwarf fighter and a dark elf Thorn Knight. The best party I´ve ever been part of!

Back in the days of 2nd I played a kender geometer who was armed with a short spear and rided on the back of the party's centaur. We sure gave them havoc...

I can't choose between 3, but I've played many.

1st: Silvanus, a 2nd Edition character who was a half-dragon (they existed then, according The Council of Wyrms). She looked like a Qualinesti, as all half-dragons in 2nd edition took on the look of their humanoid parent. She had silver eyes and silver iris'. When my friends think of my characters, they always think of her first cause she's my best known.

2nd: Kalin, my kender barbarian. He was a riot to play. He was in an adventuring group with a half-orc (we didn't know they didn't exist at that point, it was just 3rd, not 3.5) barbarian. I was told I played his kender part perfectly and my group all laughed because he had a high "intimidate" skill. :P

3rd: Pest, my Gully Dwarf. He was his clans 'rat 'basher'. He had a war club +1 that he used for bashin' rats for dinner. Once again, I was told I played it too well... which worries me, because it's intelligence was only like 7. Oh well, live and learn ;) I guess Silvanus with the int of like... 19 or 20 averages that out :P

Gotta go back to 1st edition for this one:

Dek Darkstar - Human Male Thief 19/Transmuter 20: Dual-classed at 19th level because he was getting bored with the group always expecting him to do all the work in dungeons. When I eventually worked my sorry butt back up to 20th level, the group again was basically expecting me to carry their weight everywhere we went. This guy, buy did he make magic items. Started out with a 16 Con, ended with a 3. Stupid 1stEd Permanency dealing permanent Con loss.

I recently converted his pride and joy, a longsword called Journey's End that he made just hours before he officially retired from adventuring, to v3.5 stats.

Journey's End: +1 Vorpal Brilliant Energy Longsword

Recovering this lost relic will be the goal of a future campaign that I'm working on in my spare time.

Heh. I have never played in a Dragonlance campaign although I am currently running one. The character I played was in a friend's homebrew world. He was a human ranger.

Oh man, this is a coincidence. I just finished playing in a campaign a couple months ago a Gnome Rogue named Zook. I see someone else liked the PHB name too.

I had to go home to put a crop in, so to write myself out of the game I made a deal with the DM. Our party was involved in an urban campaign to overthrow an evil overlord. So when Zook was captured, he broke under torture and had a serious case of Stockholm syndrom.

So basically I dismantled their revolution piece by piece. I removed their allies (the church of the fire god, a necromancer), handed over the artifact of evil in my care to the bad guys, and sent them around chasing after red herrings for a week or two.

Then I tried to kill them using air elementals and a dangerous trap. Of course, given that I was the same level as they were, and I was not really trying to win, they put a crossbow bolt between my character's eyes. Then they divided up all my stuff among them. A much better exit, I feel than simply leaving for no reason.

They still remember that betrayal, and it has made them mistrust me ever since. Perfect lead in for my GMing a Star Wars game, where I have designed the most nasty villains I could conceive.

Okay, I'll bite, this looks fun, and I'm all for Nostalgia.

Dragonlance 1st- 2nd edition- Grimm Holbarr, Minotaur fighter.
That group had a Kender named Lilac Topknot that loved to torment the minotaur. The kender managed to climb on the minotaur's shoulders, grab his horns, and pretend they were steering him around like a two-legged, cow powered automobile. The character himself was modeled after Kaz, and had the whole honor thing going for him. Needless to say, it got him into lots of trouble in fights, so he eventually became riddled with scars.

Dragonlance (different campaign)- my current namesake, Frostdawn Spellbinder, the travelling name of Jesper Magius, a human wizard, with an eye for mischief and for the ladies. Both got him into lots of trouble, but man was that fun, playing that character.

Forgotten Realms- Lycanis Arrowleaf, half elven druid. The character himself hasn't been overly interesting, but playing a druid, with the shifter prestige class is a blast!

Dragonlance 3.5- unfortunately, I don't have a character per se, as I'm running this adventure (KoD)- This is the first time I've DMed in years, and the first time with a major campaign, and am having alot of fun with it so far.

edit-
Well, sort of playing a plot hook, NPC that the group has run into a few times named Brindleglitter Wanderlots that is actually a copper dragon in the form of a kender. Outside of that, I came up with a kender name and character concept that I never got to use, and am itching to try- Thistlethorn Smurgletack

I've never played as a PC in a Dragonlance game, but I'm currently running 1 with another on hold. but I do have a favorite char from my old DM's personel relam.

Koranith Bladesong (Grey Elf) 17th lvl Wiz
The best part was that he turned the party's Paladin into a white panther, which the DM then allowed as his familiar, because he was annoying him. I played the character as if he were a Dragonlance Wiz. Most fun I ever did have was with him. Maybe My current group will run into them.

I mentioned my character Silvanus earlier, I was DMing a campaign that takes place after War of the Souls, we had two wizards in the group, I used Silvanus as the liason between them and the ToHS, before I knew Wayerth had been found (thank you "Wizards' Conclave"). I had her as a member, along with another of my friends former PC. (White and Black Robes, both Qualinesti... though I mentioned Silvanus was a half-dragon, she's become a full elf, for 3.5, due to no half-dragons in Krynn).

In an incredibly short-lived dragonlance game, I played my favorite concept ever.

His name was Kahlan Auric. He was the son of a rather well-to-do Solamnic family. His sister (Also a PC) and himself always had a less-extreme Caramon/Raistlin dynamic going on, where Kahlan was always comparatively bookish and intelligent, and his sister was stronger and more martially skilled (though they were both nothing to laugh at with a sword).

When he reached the age of 14, he and his younger sister were sent to palanthas to train to become Knights of the Crown. However, at one of their stops along the way, Kahlan was approached, alone, by a Nerakan Recruiter, who made him an offer he couldn't (and arguably, didn't want to) refuse. He was stolen away in dark of night, and trained to become a Knight of the Thorn. His sister and father alike assumed him dead. She grieved, but continued to Palanthas, and became a Squire of the Crown.

However, 4 years into his training, his patron, who, while evil, valued family very highly, asked that he go home and at least attempt to make peace with his father and sister. His father, after outright attempting to kill him, told him that he was disowned until he proved his honor, and his sister, who ran into him independently, only agreed to be around him because their mutual childhood friends (the other PCs) told her to get over herself, and reminded her that loyalty to family was an important part of the Measure of a Crown Knight.

Unfortunately, we only got a couple of adventures in before the game folded, and I have every intention of re-using this character in another game somewhere down the line.

Edit: Oh, right. Class levels. Human, Ftr2, Wiz2. He hadn't taken the Test yet.

One and only character in DL and I have played him once (a week ago).

Tarranath Whytstagg, Male Qualinost Druid currently serving a debt of servitude to a Solamnic Family after his brother killed an elder but fled before sentencing.

Now serves his debt protecting the youngest daughter (another PC) of the house who is trying to gain the attention of her elders in battle to prove she is worthy of Knighthood training.

(Just a quick rundown, real background 2 pages)

Currently looking forward to be able to cast Nasty Druidy Spell Death at higher levels. Oh, and he's Neutral Good.:D

He's not so much misguided so much as he's just...not guided at all. On a personal level, he really has no idea what he cares about or why he does...ANYTHING, really. He just knows what he's good at, and he has vague idea that maybe he should keep doing that. A lot of his personality is just an act, emulating people he knows and people he admires, mixed equally with what he thinks people expect from him. The Knighthood gives him something that resembles a purpose, and so he's embraced that to a great extent, making its ideals his own.

#37

He's evil because it's what he's good at.

Also, I guess on a lesser level, he's never had a high tolerance for stupidity. He feels that the knights back him on this. If you're stupid in the knighthood, you die. Easy as that. And if you're stupid while your village is being occupied...you die. That appeals to him.

My favorite character was a charlatan ( rogue ) named Gerald Ist Dunken.

The campaign was set post war of soul. He had got big troup of suporter that helped him in combat. He was claiming himself as the herald of a new god (Didn't even read War of Soul at this time ^^ So he his not the copy of Mina ): Yevon ( FFX everyone???) He had a 6 in Str but a 18 in Cha so he was the talking guy and all the party member consider him as the boss ( Even the other player doesn't know that my player wasn't a priest ).

He'd gone to adventure to proclaim the god using scroll to simulate that he was a priest, he was not a bad guy he'd done that to unite the world and stop the wars between nations. His dogma was : Yevon just want you to be merry in the ultimate union. Be unite with Yevon( So be unite with everybody.)

He's been killed by an arrow during an ceremony by a extremist ( normally the arrow was'nt supose to kill him but i've had to stop to play cause he'd has moved. )

A while back i was in a campain with a party based out of the icewall area. We had a female kangonesti sorcerer/ranger, a male ogre barbarian, and a male half elven ranger/rogue, and my charecter who at the end was a male human druid 12/barbarian 5/ranger 3. i took barbarian at 1's level for the superior HD, and i mostly just took the ranger levels for the free 2-weapon fighting feat. He used a bastard sword and a mace.

o ya his name was Caal. i got that name for the movie "Caal the Conqueror"(i think i spelled that right)
