I was in Montreal this afternoon roaming the shelves for Novels, miniatures and what ever could get my attention when i came across the *used for sale* material.
Well beleive it or not, there they were: 3 darksun products .This guy(:angel was with me that's for sure because 2 of them were brand new and they were part of the very few I didn't already have.(I do now ) They are: Arcane Shadows and Merchant House of Amketch adventures. I sware, brand new: still wrapped up.

So for those of you still wishing there were DS products out there.... keep wishing.

EDIT Now if I could just get my hands on The Forest Maker, Marauders of Nibenay, Dragon Crown, Black Flames and Asticlian gambit. I'm pretty sure this would make me the possesor of all the old DS products out there. Not the only one of course but at least, one of them
As a side note. It would be cool to have a dwarven accessory book detailing their history, way of life from the begining to this day.

Dragon Crown isn't too hard to get if you go to any of the many Cons.

Hell, I've got two copies myself.

Shouldn't have problems finding most of the other products at a Con as well. I know I saw most of the DS line at last year's GenCon.

Problem is: there are no CON near Quebec. (none that I know of at least.)

Sounds like Quebec needs to get with the program then, hehe.

I'm pretty sure there is a moderate sized convention in New York, which shouldn't be all that far from you. If not, Origins in Columbus, Ohio is about 10 or so hours drive from Montreal.

When I went, the main room had about everything RPG you could dream of, and then some.

One place had most old T$R stuff. They had most, if not all of the DS line. Most of the old T$R stuff goes for half of box price.

The only DS product I'm missing in hard copy is Earth, Air, Fire and Water. I ordered one from eBay last November, but it sadly got lost in the mail.

What other products in TSR's line had information on Dark Sun? I know of the Ravenloft link to Kalidnay, what else? Some DS specific magic items in the Book of Artifact maybe?

The Silencer is in the book of artifacts.

Btw you are missing one of the best Dark Sun books IMHO.

There are some Planescape references to DS. I don't have my books here, though, so someone else will have to fill you in on the details about 1) a (possibly) athasian elf tribe, 2) mentioning of portals leading to and from Athas, 3) The ruvoka.

I got an electronic copy of it, but it's not the same.

BTW, this is a question for everyone who has the revised setting boxed set:

My cloth map smells pretty strongly right now (bought it way back in 1995), and I don't remember it smelling that strongly. I don't know if the paint on it has degraded or what, but the books in the box have also started smelling the same thing because of the close proximity. I never stored the box in a damp place, so it's not mildew (I hope not anyways), and doesn't smell like it. Anybody else has had this experience with theirs?

It still could be mildew. If the humidty in general is high enough, you'd still get some build-up, especially inside your boxed sets, even if its still not visible. I've had mine for . . . a long time (10 years or more, got it shortly after it came out) and haven't had any deterioration, discoloring, or funky smells. I also rarely ever used mine, bringing it out only to show off its coolness before putting it back.

It came out in the fall of 1995, so not quite 9 years old. I haven't brought it out often either, same as you.
