So, I was looking to this adventure of dragonlance and its pretty good but right now my group is playing KoD, so I thought maybe we could play this as a side adventure to make more time for the next advntur ein the series of age of mortals, any ideas or suggestions to make it work? I know that since Takisis stole the world time travel before chaos is imposible but my players dont know and the adventure sounds really good so thats not a problem we could just say that it is posibble to time travel.

Thanks

I was also thinking of running this adventure, possibly as a little intro to DL and D&D before starting an adventure with the Key of Destiny.
From what I understand now that Krynn has been found by the gods the past once again connects with the present, so as long as the adventure takes place after the War of Souls it should be fine. You should check the Timereaver spell from the Towers of High Sorcery web preview, it does a good job of describing the particulars of time travel.

I ran it while waiting for KOD to be released (in Pashin sewers right before Chapter 2) and it worked great. It lasted 4 sessions and was probably the best adventure I've ever run.

I'd say yes it can work, in the adventure there was if I recall correctly, a book titled something like "Mina of the Fifth Age". Based on this and one of the sidebars that said that travel is possible into the past and into a possible 2 future ages.

Did you guys tried to change the stats of Huma, Lord Soth and the Solamnics knigth to reflect the new rules? If so, ow did they ended up?

One thing i found extrage was that all the knigths ( except Huma) had feats in the bastard sword, I have always belived that the long sword is the sword of knigths, also Huma with a greatsword? that was weird.

What do you think?

Yes, I'm converting them, and I've changed them quite a bit. I'm also altering the adventure, to have it really tie in to the Key of Destiny. or at least I'm planing on doing that.

Wasn't this the first Dragonlance adventure that came out in the 3E Dungeon magazines ? I think I remember seeing it in one of my Dungeon magazine issues on the back order list.

Yes, you're right. It was the first 3rd Edition DL Adventure, it came out before the DLCS, and it was written by Tracy Hickman. If you haven't read it, I'd highly recommend it. It features guest appearances from some of the legends from Krynn's past (Lord Soth and Huma to name a couple).

I believe it was reprinted in another book, but I don't know which one.

Thanks for clarifying for me. When I saw it listed as a back issue in my copy of Dungeon magazine I was thinking of ordering it so that I could run it as a side adventure in my ongoing Age of Mortals campaign; which is why this thread intrigued me.

What issue of Dungeon was that in? I'll have to get myself a copy.

I wish I could recall what issue I saw it in; I know for sure that it was not one of the most recent ones, as a matter of fact it was in one of the issues that came out before the revision(v.3.5).

It was in Dungeon #86 (May/June 2001) and reprinted in "The Best of Tales, Volume 2"
