So I just finished Ashes and Amber.

The aformentioned tower shows up near the end.
It's pretty darn cool.

Let's just say that i now understand why a certain campaign idea i floated some time ago was met by smirks from those in the know =)

Really... Interesting... I remember those discussions. If my memoery is correct it was a certain tower in the east. And it was a very cool idea.

The Tower mentioned in the novel is not only a really cool (and nasty!) place for the novels, but could make an exceptionally interesting location for games. It was fun playing a small part in its creation and describing those who dwell within.

I hope you enjoyed the book itself, Tal!

:OMG! Very nice. I know one person that is going be acquire this book as soon as hit hits the shelves. If I could only find that darned kender now, I might be able to get one before it hits the shelves. I don't know how you could have kept this New unknown tower a secret. Might there be something about it in the ToHS as well?

A vampire cult and Chemosh stepping up to bat as a major player?

Sounds pretty cool if you ask me.

I WANT THAT BOOK!! Simple as that! Chemosh finally gets some serious attention and we get a new tower! Can life get any better than this? (well it might if the KoN returned to the old ways but that´s a whole other story). That kender nightstalker should be interesting...

So yeah. Let's start by saying that i really really enjoyed the book.
While the first half seemed rushed, or rather moved at a quicker pace than i would have liked, it really started to get fun as it went along.

The characters are very clever, and ....

Oh hell.

Wait for my review =)

But...that must mean...

Troy bad want book now!

I suppose that would explain why there is a pick of Mina and the Monk and such standing on some rocky masses in what appears to be the sea...

...that is, if I have pieced together the information correctly, which is highly unlikely.
