Am I right in thinking there was a Planescape book by this name? I have recently been downloading old Planescape books from SVGames, but I note that On Hallowed Ground is not amongst the books available there.

If there was such a book, is it any good? Is it worth getting? If anyone knows where I might get it, do tell.

Thanks

There really is indeed such a book. I have one sitting next to me. As far as I know this one is not available to purchase from SVgames or RPGnow.com.

It is very definitely worth having. All about the homes of the gods on the planes. Lots of pretty maps. Lots of charts in the back about what gods live where. Lots of wonderful fluff.

You might try one of the various used book search engines on the web, or check out your local used bookstores. I see it pop up on rare occasions in the used bookstores here in Austin.

The bastion press scanning schedule listed OHG as one which they hadn't obtained a copy of for scanning, hence it wasn't released as an ESD. I have no idea if they'd pay well for a good quality copy.

Hmm... I wonder how many copies of the Planescape ESDs have been sold since they were first released? It would be a pretty good measure of the Planescape fanbase don'cha think?

Well officially it wasn't scanned, but there's a pdf floating around out there anyways. And there's also some russian who put the entire PS box set into html, and somehow it's still up and running out there as well.

Personally I bought the pdfs despite having the books just to save the wear and tear on the paper copies.

I found an extra copy of On Hallowed Ground for cheap at a used bookstore this weekend. Who was it that still wanted one? If you live in the United States, send me a private message and I will just mail it to you.

I just have the one copy so first come first served. I am not selling it, I am just giving it away for free in the interest of community.

Do not send your address in the PM, just let me know you are interested and if you are the first to ask I will PM you back to discuss where you want me to mail it.

Please don't ask if you already have one, or intend to sell it, I just want to get this to someone who will love it and use it for their planescape campaign.

The winner is Freefall! Thanks and sorry to the two others that responded. I will keep a list and if it pops up again in my local bookstores (which they do from time to time) I will snag it for you.

^^Well, we can't exactly put it up on the WotC boards, now can we? I remember doing a double take when I saw it. I ended up getting the svgames legal pdf anyway, though at first I was convinced the site was somehow a legal agreement as it was pretty well done.
