Can anyone suggest me an interesting quest for a human nomad (20years old) that has lived the last ten yers with a kagonesti tribe near silvanesti?
I give more info.
The pc is reached 20years old and now, is the moment that the shaman of the kagonesti tribe will ask for to accomplish a quest.
The most important think is that this quest should be someway "integrated" in the "key of destiny" adventure.
All the party (the pc don't know what race and class the other players have chosen) will meet in pashin. So the quest should bring, first at all, the nomad to pashin. I don't have read yet all Key of destiny adventure, so please suggest me a good quest ;)

You could have the PC sent to Pashin to seek wisdom from the Hearld. This would lead into the events in the prelude adventure The Sylvan Key which leads into KoD.

Its a pretty quick fix but simple sometimes works.

I would like to insert a small quest "parallel" to the main plot of key of destiny... just to add new variant and possible different decision to the player (the first part of the trilogy, key of destiny, doesn't offer too many "choice" to the players)...
The shaman could ask for somethink like that:
"the quest is to reach pashin and meet the man who is called "the herald". Follow the path the fate reserved for you, and reach the mouth of wendlewrithinriver to defeat a dangerous foe and find an ancient artifact" (for example...)
this will give the party the choice to help the nomad character or to continue the main quest and don't help the player. This is a little example...
any idea?

I don't know if I'd call it a quest per se....

I gave Mayleaf a Kani doll, as part of what precipitates the Hogart encounter in The Sylvan Key. (Hogart notices money missing, runs out and sees kender purchase toy, 1+1 = 4) Well the party (1 PC, 1 NPC "good buddy") ends up at Kelwicks, oddly enough, alone with the doll. When the NPC turned his back, the doll goes off on the PC that can see it. Hijinx and combat ensue. Well the PC clearly miffed at the loss of a nice chunk of Dex and having to explain why he's mangling a little girls doll decided to undertake a little consumer advocacy, and makes me invent a cryptic toy merchant who'd only recently appeared and with prices too low to compete against, with mechandise that was a little off, just enough, so that the prices wouldn't raise suspicians. But he'd left, with many of the other mechants, by the time the PC arrived.

But it seems to me one could drop in that thread anywhere.

If I ever write up a Something Wicked This Way Comes adventure, I'll try to work in a horde of those things. So so awesome.

Mmmmh... i don't know... i prefer a quest in some ruins... this is some "ruins" or dungeons in the desolation (rather then the tower of high sorcery ruins and the malystryx peak)?

For simplicity have him sent to do The Ghost Blade adventure, and before he gets there, he ends up in The Sylvan Key. When he reaches the appropriate level for The Ghost Blade adventure things work out such that he can fulfill his promise, and excecute what is essentially a little side quest now that he's wrapped up in the epic events of The Key of Destiny.

Wham-bam thank you van damm. You've got everything you need already, and are good to go.
