Very nice aesthetic changes to the forums. But did we just lose our most recent posts?

Colour scheme suits DS better than the old one though (unless you count the totally excellent "Blue Age" theme that we had just after these boards started, heh heh. And I really like the little banner with DS art along the top of the page. Coolio .

That "blue age" theme is still there, just hiding under the graphical backgrounds for the elements of the forums. If your browser doesn't load the graphics fast enough, everything's in baby blue.

But, their site just looks more like the more modern vBulletin sites... All in all, I find some of the "features" of the newer vB to be a little annoying, but otherwise, no big deal...

I'm still trying to get used to the icons for "new posts" and "no new posts". They all look a bit too much like each other. Other than that, I like the cosmetic changes. It also gives the whole "Wizards" site more cohesiveness.

Yeah, I like the changes to as far as the eye candy is concerned, going to take some getting use to though.

Will sift through some of the new features when I get back.

I like the tooltip feature on the thread names.
Can't see it's use, but I like it...

Edit: almost forgot the Pennarin Clause:
C'est tu donc cute de comment qu'y on mis ça...

Well, I found that you can place the user details to the left, just like in the old forums. I think it makes for much easier reading.

Can anyone tell me why some of the thread titles appear in bold letters now? I can't figure it out.

I think it means that you have not read the newly posted material under the bolded thread.

Good job Sysane! I just tested your idea and it seems to work out.

Although Sysane is right, sometimes when the page loads first at the beggining of the day, the threads are normalized, not bold, even though I haven't read them yet. It's still fuzzy and they still got some work to do.

Has anyone ever noticed how dead these boards are on the weekends? You'd think people only visit them while they're at work!

So true!
Its impressive to see: no new posts for about 62 hours (from 18:00 a friday to 8:00 on monday) and then it starts anew in the first hours of morning on monday.

Yeah... gotta love high-speed internet at work. I browse from home, usually to busy at work, but i did notice that since the change the place has been a little dead... and bummer about the last few threads that we lost....
