Hello everyone-
I was hoping to pool everyone's resources and knowledge and see how much detail there is regarding the Inn of the Last Home in Solace. I know it's been referenced in several books over the years, but I wanted to make sure I didn't miss anything.

The reason I ask is I'm undertaking a rather daunting task, but one that I've already started and am REALLY getting into. I'm modelling a 3-D scale version of the Inn. In my free time, I occasionally like to paint minis, and I've had it in my head to try and reproduce the Inn for awhile now, and I finally got the nerve up to do it. I've already measured out the main floor of the Inn from the sketches found in the Atlas of Krynn. Now I need all the details. Types of walls, floors, decorations, colors, etc. Anything you guys you can find (for reference, I'm using the layout of the Inn from before the War of the Lance and pre remodeling of the Inn)

As the project progresses, I'll try and get some pictures to share with everyone. As it currently stands, the main floor is approximately 25in x 20in in floor area (not including the outside walkways) (I have the Heroes of the Lance minis, so the idea is to incorporate them into the piece when complete; the Inn will be to mini scale)

Thanks for the offer all the same though
Way back when, I vaguely remember some books even describing some of the things Otik had on the walls for decoration. There might have even been some references to what the walls and floors looked like, such as building material and/or colors. I just can't for the life of me remember where I read those things, and it's those details I'm looking for...

Inn of the Last Home details

Tables:
-Possess cracks and splits in the finish.

Windows:
-Multi-colored stained glass.

Fireplace:
-Although made of stone it is crafted by dwarves to look like part of the tree. From the illustration in Chronicles the fireplace appears to be one-half the shape of a football split width-wise.

The vallenwood around which the Inn is built has its smaller branches supporting both the floor and ceiling. In another passage in Chronicles the ceiling is described as being supported by beams, so perhaps both natural branches and beams support the ceiling? Or the branches have been carved and molded into proper beams?
