Had a look at the other worlds forums - Dragonlance has like 34,000 posts, the Darksun Community is the second most active with 19,000 posts.

Dragonlance got re-released in print format... Hmm...

I think it has less to do with DL being re-released in print format, though I'm sure it is helping a little, and more to do with the fact that DL is a far more popular campaign setting overall, and has been around alot longer than DS.

Yeah, DS was kicking FR's arse in sales there for awhile, but I think that was mostly because it was new and different.

Even before it (DL) got re-released, they were bigger (by number of posts) than the DS forum, so, from my view - which is i like my DS, i see DL getting re-released - now many commercial decision went into that, but if on-line participation is anything to go by, then FR should have become the default setting (rather than greyhawk) then Dragonlance would have taken over from FR as the 'main' alternative, and DS would have recently been re-released.

Sigh. At least we're still kicking around and new material is being released... and busting my works colour printer on occasions

Don't get me wrong, I'm sure re-releasing it has helped some, but I think those numbers are there because it's been around longer, is more popular, and has alot more active posters than we do.

I'm glad they stuck with Greyhawk as the core setting, just wish they would expand on it some, ah well. Not everyone likes FR, so I think it would have been a majorly bad move to have FR equal the default core world.

Sigh. At least we're still kicking around and new material is being released...

I like it better that way anyways, hehe.
