I'm playing a tinker gnome character and another is playing a kender. We don't quite have the books (2nd ed) and were wonderin' what are some tips to roleplay the characters and how they work in gameplay.

Thanks in advance,
Niff

Kender haven't changed much at all. They're still the irrepressible, jovial, happy-go-lucky, kleptomaniacs they always were, unless of course you want to play an Afflicted Kender. Physcally Afflicted Kender look just like True Kender, except that they wear dark and brooding clothing, and their personalities couldn't be more different. They are look at everyone with distrust and they don't "handle" they steal and know they're doing it. Rather than fight they are more prone to run and hide.

Gnomes have also split into two groups the Tinker (the typical DL gnome) Gnomes and the Thinker (or Mad) Gnomes. Tinker Gnomes are you're typical overengineering, fast talking, scientific-minded gnomes. Thinker Gnomes have been released from their curse by Reorx during the Chaos War and they are able to create inventions that work as they are supposed to and are not overly engineered. Hence why the Tinker Gnomes think of them as Mad Gnomes.

I'd share the racial stats and such but I'm not sure I can leagally do that. IF I were you I'd pool your resources and spend the $40 to get the DLCS at the very least, then AoM or WotL next depending upon what era you're playing.
