Does anyone have any info they can supply me on the City of Doors? I'm planning on using it in a campaign setting, and I recently realized I won't be able to afford the Manual of the Planes anytime soon. Any information, even a link to a website with information, would be most useful.

Thanks! :D

Planewalker Chapter 7 has all the information you can need for Sigil, and was written by Shemeska the Maraduer

BRIX'S GUIDE TO SIGIL:

Planewalker Portals: Sigil - hopefully that second link will work, even through Wizards' security system.

I'll again pimp my own contribution over on Planewalker, the Sigil chapter.

I'll also say good things about the stuff over on mimir, which while not absolutely canon, I'll come right out and say that I've used material from there before that caught my fiendish little eyes.

And for official 3e WotC material: The manual of the planes has little information on Sigil, a few paragraphs at most that don't even take into account the faction war. The Planar Handbook devotes a chapter to Sigil and it's pretty good, but the Planewalker material goes into much more detail and has around an order of magnitude more page space on it. WotC's folks had page restrictions, I didn't. ;)

Don't bother looking for Sigil information in the Manual of the Planes. It's about a sentence long, and doesn't tell you much. There's a lot more description in the Planar Handbook, but even that is less detailed (and more horrifying: LN Lady of Pain) than Shemeska's writeup of our fair city over at planewalker.com. And the fiend's version is free. At least free of monetary charge- she still wants your soul.

Thanks guys! All this info should help me out a great deal. I just hope my players don't find this thread...
