As we all know, not a lot of new GH products are scheduled. *coughlackofsupportcough*
Anyways, I decided to revive my own GH by simply using a new game mechanic altogether. Maybe you have heard of...if you havn't, you've been spending waaaaaaay too much time wondering chasing the Scarlet Brotherhood around.

I've been converting GH to Guardians of the Order's system Tri-Stat DX. (D6)

So, far it working out fairly nicely. In Tri-Stat DX, there is an Attribute called Dynamic Powers. Dynamic Powers have a power range: Minor, Major, Primal. Magic would be a Primal Power. Spellcasters can be made using this attribute as it is an attribute that allows one to use other attributes.

For example: Mordenkainen's Disjunction-[Dynamic Powers (Magic)] would allow the user to 'Nullify' (Another Attribute) magical qualities that are in effect. The extent of this 'nullification' would be determined by the level of Dynamic Powers one has reached.

Interesting points:
*no memorization
*no material components
*character doesn't need to be 'high level'.

Yep, GH is inspirational...

Alternatively, you could use BESM D20... Either on it's own or as something of a conversion guide...

Yeah, BESM would work. Imagine the Thieves Guild: Ninjas! Imagine any of the various Knighthoods: Samurai. Iuz would be the perfect 'Shogun of The Dark'...

A badly-translated-from-the-Japanese Greyhawk hentai novel...

Why does this notion frighten me so?
