Hey, I'm looking for minis for my D&D group. I don't want to go buying a bunch of booster packs or anything, so could somebody tell me a website or something that might have these minis that might look like this? The characters in my group are:

A Kender Sorcerer(he's also a half-dragon)
A Kapak Bard(he's also a half-dragon, but I don't guess he looks any different)
A Half-Elven Ranger(he wears elven chain)
A Human Monk/Cleric of Majere(he's unarmed)
An Irda Cleric(he wears a white robe and cloak that covers his face)

And there's 2 other guys who might join, a Bozak Rogue/Sorcerer and a Tarmak Fighter.

Thanks, if you guys can help me.

You can check Ebay or the Wizards of the Coast site for piks of all the minis. Off hand, you're going to have real trouble with the half-dragons; there's only one that I know of.

For the cleric you could check out Reaper Miniatures and do a search for "Inquisitor of Malvernis" (sp?). There's a few and they all have hoods and cloth covering their faces.

Well, the Kender Half-Dragon doesn't care if his mini's a half-dragon,a nd the Kapak Half-Dragon wouldn't really look any different, I don't think. Thanks for the tips, by the way.

PS: I also need a Brass Dragon mini.

Good luck finding a kender or anything that even resembles one. The closest thing you'll find there is the first halfling rogue from when 3.0 was first released. You could use it but it would require a lot of tweaking to make it work. I've given up on finding one or trying to convince the Powers-That-Be to allow them to be made by others since they have not deemed it a worthy porject. I've considered making one myself, otherwise it's modifying the above mentioned halfling. Reaper has put out a lot of unarmored unarmed monks lately. I've seen at least 3 males and 3 females of that variety in my local gaming store.

Half-dragons are not part of "main stream" dragonlance. As for the minatures, Kapaks are one of the most common Uncommon Dragoneye minis, i have 2 or 3 and one of my PCs has one.

My group found a troupe of hobbits that, with a little work with a hobby knife to get the feet to look more boot-like and less hobbit-foot-like, make passable Kender.

Also, Thunderbolt Mountain Miniatures casts a nice line of slightly smaller than standard 25mm minis that could be used for decent gnomes & Kender.

I know this. you need to read my Role-Playing article on the Nexus, Enhancing Your Dragonlance Game. Of the three scenarios presented for working a Dragon Disciple in, 2 of them have come up.

Truthfully the new look of 3rd Edition halflings is very close to kender anyway, so I've been using them for kender with no raised eyebrows--either in home games or those I've run at conventions. For draconians I've used a combination of the official figures from the D&D sets and my old Ral Partha minis (though they seem a bit small, 25mm instead of 28mm).

Way back when, Ral Partha used to make official Kender and Draconian pewter/ralidium minis amongst others, and I was lucky to find some on ebay awhile back. Of course, Ral Partha is no more (now it's something like Ironwind Miniatures or something) and WotC seems to have no interest in minis aside from plastic pre-painted minis they offer in packs ala Wizkids inspired.

For official Dragonlance minis, the following is a list of the official figures that were once made in case your interested in tracking any of them down for whatever reason.

Kender (2 pack, 1 male, 1 female), Bupu & Highbulb, Caramon (2), Tanis (2), Sturm (3), Kitiara (2-3), Tika (2), Goldmoon (2), Riverwind (2), Raistlin (2), Tas (1-2), Flint (2), Lord Soth (3), Dalamar, Chot Es Kalin, Takhisis (2- 5 headed dragon and human female avatar), Paladine, Gunthar Uth Wistan, Sylvara (elven form), Toede (2), Draconians (about 12-13 variations), Huma & Sylvara (dragon form), Khisanth, Soth's Death Knights (about 10-12 variations), Laurana (1-2), Gilthanas, Ariakan, Verminaard, Red Dragon of Krynn (this one I don't know as a specific character per se, but it is inspired by artwork from Jeff Easley)

(*note- any characters with a number in paranthesis represents the number of different variations of the given character)

For a good resource on MANY different minis, try www.newwave.org. They carry most of the major lines of minis, complete with images of most as well (exception being Warhammer minis, since there are so many). These guys will probably be your best bet for a wide variety of minis in one place, although they carry only currently available products. Another site to check out is www.nobleknightgames.com who sometimes gets things that are out of print in case your interested in a resource outside of ebay. Good luck!

On a side note- the project for making a 3-D model of the Inn of the Last Home is progressing well. The outer walls, and first floor have been constructed, and I've mapped out the second floor and am prepping it for construction. Soon, I'll be able to work out detail work and painting, then constructing a tree out of insulation foam. Everything is to scale for minis.
This has been one helluva challenge to visualize, and has taken quite a bit of time to put together, but quite fun all the same.

I'll go ahead and give my recommendation to Noble Knight Games. My friend Tracy (wife of our own Sean Everette!) works there and is part of the excellent inventory and customer service they offer. Their selection is truly staggering, and is way too tempting for a gamer-geek packrat such as myself.
