Greyhawk enthusiasts,

The submission deadline for the current Postfest: Villains and Foils of the Flanaess, has been extended.

Postfest submissions are now due on Tuesday, November 30, 2004.

Other elements of the event are the same:
- Write about an NPC villain or other vexing personality in or from the World of Greyhawk.
- Who may participate – Anyone.
- Submit your Villain or Foil to Canonfire! and please identify your submission by including the word "POSTFEST" in the subject line.
- Postfest details are available at the Canonfire forums. Please visit Canonfire! HERE. Go to the World of Greyhawk discussion, and read the Postfest Announcement. There are notes on format, what exactly to write about, and how to submit your article.

Our goal is allow voting on the articles in mid-Decemeber 2004.

We are still loooking for your meddling do-gooder or sinister nemesis. Take advantage of the extra two weeks and write up your Villain or Foil. Done one already? Share another personality with us!

heh, I've got 4 in.. I think I've finally out-did myself ;)

I'm very proud of 3 of the 4 entries and I believe 2 of them contain my best work, ever.

I can't wait for POSTFEST time!

I'm a shameless Postfest promoter.

Anyone can submit an entry. If you have not participated, please do. We have extended the submission deadline to 30 Nove 04.

Abyss remember Wes probably could of won the first Postfest if his other submission didn't help split his votes that could of went his way. But hey I did a three parter the first time so even though one is optimal the more submissions their are to read the better the experience is for everyone. Right now I'm currently working on my fifth page on my villian nemisis foil thing. So i don't think I'll have more than one but you know how long I like to make my submissions so good luck at the postfest and can we get some fresh blood on this one. Just submit one of your own NPC's or what not last postfest all of the submissions were great and I think the best part of it was seeing all the different views one can have of a GH world. So put in your two cents I want to read it.

I got mine in today. I would love to see some submissions from people who only post to this (Wizards) website. :D

Argon brings up a good, but brief point.

Other people WANT to read what ideas you have. Put 'em out there.

Well thanks to Abyss, I'm working on my second submission instead of my first idea :P But both will be finished on time I'm sure. I agree with GVD, I am interested in seeing people write that I haven't seen on CF before.

I'll second (or third) that sentiment. I spend hours reading and rereading the myriad concepts that people devise. That's what I really liek about Postfest, and gives me reason to think that every entry is a winner.

Well I got my entry in by the original post deadline. I wrote over ten pages on this NPC and I didn't include one stat. This way it is edition neutral and everyone can feel free to create their own version of my NPC. Not that I would come to your house and tell you that your portraying him incorrectly. I just feel the story some plot lines and the rest is up to the reader. I like the fact that some of the buzz is moving. So if your thinking about submitting to postfest Villians or Foils, but aren't sure anyone will like it. Then I ask you to submit it because the more you write the better you get at it. Consider this your warm up your seventh inning stretch, your pre game submission. Whatever will get you to submit your article. You say you don't have a villian or foil in your portfolio, you can use one of the many Greyhawk Villians or Foils and give your spin on that particular NPC or Foil so to speak. If your not interested in doing a villian or foil then you can submit any other type of Greyhawk material you created for your Greyhawk campaign to the site as well. Consider it the newspaper you read while in the bathroom. Theirs not always good news in the paper but it keeps you occupied while your focusing on something else.
