#1zombiegleemaxNov 14, 2004 17:09:14 | Me and my group have been playing DL for a couple months now, and the group is-Me an Ogre, 2 Kender, A human White robe wizard, and a unicorn Druid. I'm a 5th level fighter Ogre who was raised by a solamnic knight, and hoped to become one, but made a mistake and could never be accepted. So there goes my prestige class. I've looked through every prestige class book-Complete warrior,Age of Mortals, Campeign Edition, Sword and fist. And all I can do without taking 10 more levels is if I choose to become a Dragon Rider, Which I have a 10ft tall on all fours black horse named nightmare who is secretly a female silver dragon, my character doesnt know this. I'm also Chaotic Good. So please help me find a prestige class. |

There are a few non human knights (Elves mostly) although I doubt there has been an Ogre. Seeing that you are good aligned, I wouldn't throw that dream down the pipe just yet. Becomeing the First Ogre Knight of Slomnia Personaly I want to play that now, it would be so cool. You could spend your entire life trying to prove your worth to the knight hood. Fighting as a solder at their side, and living by the Measure. Eventualy honor, and the rules of a good plot, should prevail and you would be inducted into the knights with a fancy cermony and all sorts of pomp and curcmstance. Personaly sounds like fun to me! |

#5cam_banksNov 15, 2004 0:57:56 | Well the ogre kinda assualted an unarmed centaur, infront of a crowd and behind it's back. ...and he's chaotic good, which rules him out right there. Also makes it tough for him to qualify for many knightly PrCs from other products such as Complete Warrior, as most of them call for a lawful alignment. Cheers, Cam |

Othewise your character could become member of some other smaller knightly order - take some interesting prestige class type from Complete Warrior (there ARE good Prestige classes and many knightly-type classes there). And just let your character enter those. Example: Cavaliers (altough if this Ogre is truly full OGRE then he really needs BIG horse, maybe mammut...). O, where is Ansalons Cavaliers? Well, that's just something everyone have to figure-out themselfs, and part of fun. Maybe knightly order of Ergoth are Cavaliers (emperors elite guard), or small order non-solamnic crusaders in some solamnic town/fortress? OR why not try to make the Ogre Legionaire? |
#7SysaneNov 15, 2004 8:30:11 | Granted its much debated if they are considered a Knightly Order, but there is the option of becoming part of the Legion of Steel. |
#8clarkvalentineNov 15, 2004 10:00:35 | THe Legion of Steel might work for you. Also consider simply forgoing a prestige class. A straight 15th level fighter, or a fighter 10/barbarian 5, or whatever, can be a great PC. |
#9zombiegleemaxNov 18, 2004 19:12:38 | THe Legion of Steel might work for you. Well barbarian wont work because he just isn't that kind of ogre. Umm, Legion of Steel is a good idea but we havent been incontact that we know of who has anything to do with the good Legion. The group I'm in have our own guild known as the Coffin Riders. So maybe I could create my own knighthood from that. |
