Remember the free Character Generator that came with PHB v3.0?
It's that, but much more expanded. Basically it's a DMs dream as far as character designing and generating goes, allowing you to advance monsters and even give them character levels. It also has a lot of handy random tables from the DMG in there and a race and monster creator allowing you to put your own races in if you're too cheap to buy the sets (e.g The Eberron set for a Changeling) from Code Monkey Publishing.

On that note, I am too cheap. Thanks for the link though :D

firstly, go to www.codemonkeypublishing.com so you can learn how e-tools works etc.

You will need to go to the ZOO STORE and purchase E-TOOLS version 1.5666, and the CORE SET REVISED 3.5.

Once you have installed those, then you can get the DRAGONLANCE CAMPAIGN SETTING.

note - you have to install things in that order or it won't work buddy!

I highly recommend E-Tools and all it's wonderful data sets. The only complain I have about the Dragonlance Data set is that it works seperate from the other data sets. So I could not for example create a Qualinesti using one of the prestige classes from the Complete Warrior data set. And some template vanish, such as the fiendish template. I guess it's because it is not appropiate for a DL campaign, but that's really the DMs call. Aside from that, it's great! :D

No big deal, I figured I would put it out there so everyone-here at the WoTC boards-would know that it is available. I saw the advertisement on the DragonLance.com website.

Code Monkey Publishing announced the other data sets would be made compatible with DL asap (probably as soon as December).

The only two complaints I could make about the DL data set is that:
1- they forgot to put Paladine and Takhisis on the list of deities (probably because they were in another section of the book )
2- the available races have neither height/weight nor age because those were available only in the booklet included with the DL Screen

Whats odd about this enhancement is that it gives the Kapak its +8 to move silently even when given class levels.

It still think it was a typo not to have the PC Kapak get this racial bonus to this skill.

Question. Will Sovereign and Code Monkey be releasing any of the additional Dragonlance books as Data Sets or will it just be the DLCS?

Good question, especially since books such as WoTL and AoM are now part of the line(and they have playable classes).

The Codemonkeys recently made an announcement on their website that they are currently negotiating with Sovereign Press and expect to make an announcement soon that they'll be making data sets for all future Dragonlance books i.e bestiary of krynn, towers of high sorcery etc.

Watch the Codemonkey website for more news.

The interoperability issue between datasets and teh DLCS should be fixed in the next update, which according to CMP is set for Dec 27th.
