What exactly are the Gleaming Spires?

While leafing through my copy of Iuz the Evil, I noticed some structures just north of the Phostwood called 'The Gleaming Spires.' I couldn't find any reference to them in the ItE sourcebook (or the LGG). Can anyone tell what they are?

They appear to be a set of keeps maintained by Tenh and are so described in Ite at page 69, "Harpender and the Gleaming Spires."

Their names suggest that shrines to sun-related gods may be present or that their towers' turrets may be of a valuable and reflective metal. I recall that the LGJ 0 entry for Nystul mentioned that he was raised by "a small sect of pacifist Pholtan monks living near the Phostwood." Id. at 10. Maybe the Gleaming Spires had shrines to Pholtus but of a sect that did not obey the Theocrat? Alternatively, these shrines may have been to the traditional Flan god, Pelor.

You know, I found that entry only moments after posting this thread, but I certainly like the extrapolation you've done on it, Tizoc. I never got my hands on LGJ 0, so I'll have to 'track it down' and print it out. Anyway, thanks for the feedback.
