I had hoped they'd have updated psionics, any idea if they plan to?

That's being worked on right now (there's a thread about it right here if you feel like getting involved .)

That thread is about updating our psionic powers ... which is the real holdup. As for the rest of the XPH adjustments:

  • Our Wild Talent feat is removed. Talented is reverted to the XPH version. The XPH already accounts for wild talents as a feat.
  • ds3 psions no longer recieve a non-standard power point progression
  • Strike the power scaling rules from Chapter 9.
  • the whole host of changes to our powers

Basically, the classes and the psionics rules are imported whole cloth. The races are ignored.

Psions are, in general, trained in the Taradan tradition -- either through the schools, or by individual masters. Wilders are self-trained, undiciplined -- often referred to as Wild Talents.

Gulp! I hope you're not including the soulknife in there!?

Still, Hidden Talent is a must. I hope it will be mentionned in the doc to be legal too.

It's an open question. I wouldn't mind hearing some opinions on that ...

edit: Fear my l33t poll posting power! :D http://boards1.wizards.com/showthread.php?t=345729 Direct discussion there.

Yes. We'll explicitly mention that it's in use.
