#3 zombiegleemax Dec 02, 2004 14:36:27	I liked the prestige class, but I wonder if it isn't a little on the lower power side. If you were a Fighter/Cleric or Fighter/Mysic it would work great, as you still get half progression and some BAB, but I feel it needs one of two things, either full caster progression, or Fighter BAB to make it attractiv to full Mystics or Clerics. Other than that I like the Idea of convering spel slots to bonuses, an Interesting Idea i've only seen once (In the Arcane Strike Feat).

Full caster progression would go against the idea of what the Guardian is. Really, in SAGA, they had no spellcasting ability. In 3e, we're going with the idea that they've picked up on some spiritual knowledge, but aren't up to speed with clerics or mystics. A Sword Knight follows a cleric's BAB too. Check Age of Mortals for that.
#5 true_blue Dec 03, 2004 4:49:18	Amazingly, I actually like the prestige class. The loss of spells for any spellcaster is a huge problem, but this class has enough neat abilities that I would not mind giving up those 2 levels. I'm actually tempted to offer this to my Minotaur Mystic PC. Its actually something he would maybe like. Usually I'm not a big fan of fandom, but not too shabby. (Still don't like the fact the the Knight of the Sword gets cleric BAB progression. Its basically a carbon copy of the cleric class, but eh.. what can ya do.)

There's currently a Citadel Mystic among my players and she may just take a level or three of the prestige class. Good job there Rooks.
