What book details the cost of making weapons w/ Ravenloft specific special materials?

You know, lead, leather, gold and mithral etc,..

I didn't see it on the Campaign Setting or the Ravenloft DMG.

Van Richten's Arsenal touched on this, but that was for 3.0 and some of its info on special materials has since been superceded by the core 3.5 Dungeon Master's Guide. The latter is the best place to look.

The 3.5 DMG doesn't mention gold, platnium, lead or leather made weapons. Those are Ranveloft only special material. And the mithral section just has non-armor items by weight.

I believe gold is covered in VRA, though I could be wrong. A leather weapon would be, er, a whip -- I can't think of anything else that would be remotely effective, except maybe wrapping bludgeoning weapons.

As for platinum or lead, I don't think any 3.X RL book covers them.

Gold and platinum both covered on p.14 of the VR Arsenal vol. I

Oh, and if I were you, I would also take a look at the article on RL herbs found in Dragon #273...
