Well I have decided to try to run a WotL setting adventure. My idea is somewhat based off the original Chronicals yet different. I have decided that while Tanis and friends are bringing back clerical magic to Krynn what if another set of adventurers bring back Nature Magic from Gods such as Zeboim, and Habbikuk and Reorx to name a few.

Since Druids and Bards do not need holy symbols i have been trying to decide on what to give my heros to show thier faith. I was thinking of some kind of weapon, but if it is druids can't use metal. I was also thinking of a musical item from Branchala but wasn't sure.

I was thinking what about the glaive Dhamon gets in the DoNA Saga does it have a history and is it printed up yet?

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks everyone

I thought druids were only prohibited from wearing metal armor? They can use scimitars and a couple other metal weapons, AFAIK. And Dhamon's Glaive is in the Age of Mortals book, it's a pretty nasty weapon. Don't remember much if it has a history or not, I'm sure it does as everything in DL does! Hope that helps some....

Correct. Druids can use any weapon with which they are proficient. A fighter/druid with Exotic Weapon Proficiency in spiked chain could use a spiked chain, for example.

thanks yes it does help a lot guys. I am thinking of giving one of the characters that glaive in order for them to use it against dragons, as opposed to Dragon Lances, which they will find eventually. Of course they won't know what the glaive does and they must lose it around the Chaos war time. But i thought would be an interesting twist, maybe give it to a wizard for the completion of his/her test. Rastlin is thier sword, this person could be the shield (white robe) maybe a red robe but still... Or is there a history to the glaive already?

That's a house rule I used once upon a time. Well, they could wear any armor they wanted, but they could not use wild shape while wearing metal armor. In the setting I ran, I ruled that that amount of inorganic material on their person interfered with their nature-based shapeshifting mojo. It was strictly a houserule, as far as I know.

A dragon game Dhamon the Glaive, it was a Bronze if I'm not mistaken and it was part of his horde other than that it's origins are a mystery I believe.

That would be the bronze dragon, Shimmer, by the way. Every time I see that name I get sort of angry. I was originally going to make a NPC Knight of Solamnia with a bronze dragon cohort named Shimmer, but then I saw that it was already taken. Anyway, kudos to Jean for using such a cool name for a cool dragon!

How about giving them an icon of truth? It could be made from enchanted parchment and other natural objects.

Are there stats for the "Icon of Truth"? what exactly were they used for? So there is no history for the glaive if not its ok to use as long as Shimmer gets it b4 Dahmon does. That will work excellently. Now just need to find a person to give it to.

Well according to AoM no one knows the origins of the Glaive before it fell into Shimmer's pile-o-loot. However considering the official stats have it possessing the 'Holy' enchantment I think your idea is a fantastic idea for a War of the Lance campaign... in fact I might steal the idea (Mwahahahaha).
