Aryx Dragoneye of "Reavers of the Blood Sea" by Richard A. Knaak?

I just finished the first book in the "Minotaur Wars" but they barely had (if they had) a reference to this Minotaur at all, but I would have thought that he would have made a big enough effect on the Minotaur civilization that he would be mentioned more or maybe even have had a part in the MW Trilogy.

What happened to this character?

I'm wondering that myself.
Before reading Vol. I of the Mino Wars I had really expected to feature Kaz's descendent.

Is Aryx perhaps in one of the other Mino War books?

I don't remember how old Aryx was supposed to be in Reavers, but since the Minotaur Wars take place nearly 40 years later, it's very possible that Aryx is deceased or at least retired somewhere on his own private island.

Chot was way older than Aryx and he was still Emperor and in good shape.

IMHO it would only be proper to have a minotaur that was favored both by Sargas and Kiri-Jolith appear when the minotaurs need him, as the gods return.

hmmmm.....I think I read a short story in one of the anthologies, I think by Knaak, in which the Sword of Tears was found after the WoC by a human near this place Aryx fought the Coil in the rubble of a hillslide: He wrestled it from the hands of a mino skeleton...
So, he would be dead......but I can't remember if he died in "reavers" or not...

Neither did Aryx die in Reavers, nor did he keep the Sword ...
its last wielder during Reavers had been the Horned One himself.
