First of all I would like to say very well done to Jon. I read through everything for some project ideas and was very impressed. Very interesting ideas and all of them seemed to stay within the flavor of DS IMO.

However, there were a couple of questions I had regarding a few of them. Some of the classes seemed at first glance a bit overpowered. I was hoping to see what others thought.

The Shadow Templar is able to accumulate 9th lvl spells in a mere 10 lvls. That seems a bit too high for me. I could understand the use of one 6th lvl spell at the 10th level, but a 9th lvl spell seems a bit overpowering. Otherwise this class was a great idea, and I must say very creative. Also the Psionic monk class seems a bit overpowered, the Shadow's sneak attack seems to rival the rogue’s ability (maybe a bit too high?) while the Restorationist could use an additional perk perhaps. I am not too sure about the latter, but it just seems to be missing something.

I am not trying to be critical, and I know these are not finished works. However, I was hoping to offer some feedback and get some insight from others. Also, I am not adept at fleshing PrCs out on paper, but I do have some ideas; where should I send these?

I look forward to seeing the finished works (soulknife in particular), and keep up the great work!

Why not here, under your own ideas thread? I am sure all peoples would like to hear your ideas and other might give you a hand with some of your material.

the "classes" on jon's site are all prestige classes and as far as i know, they are finished works. however, i haven't looked at jon's site in a while, so i could be wrong.

I understand they are Prestige Classes and they may be finished works. However I noticed some notes and missing info on the PDF indicating they are still being updated. Either way the material looks good. Are these going to be considered "official"?

There seem to be only a few Psionic and Warrior type PrCs. Perhaps there are others sources where these can be found, however I had a few ideas.

Warlord: A military leader who inspires greatness in those he leads. This could be translated to moral bonuses in Dmg and Attack rolls, saving throws, additional rolls against Fear effects, etc. Perhaps the Warlord could have abilities to stage off being caught flat footed, or AC bonuses in mass warfare, and bonuses to leadership.

Hive Mind or (Feral Mind): A Thri-kreen psion (or halfling), devoted to the preservation of the pact (tribe). Either Telepathy or Clairsentience would need to be a primary discipline in order to gain access. Some ideas for abilities may include ESP at will or a set amount per day with pact mates. A Psionic sense when telepathy is attempted on the Hivemind or any of its pact mates might be another option. Find Path or something similiar as a free clairasentient power and possibly Fate link (only w/ another pact mate).

Dwarven War Cleric: A Dwarven Cleric w/ a devotion to war and the battlefield. I have the idea but I am not sure what abilities to give... Perhaps something similar to the elven battledancer, however instead of dancing they use drums or words of inspiration?

Dreamweaver: The name may be a bit corny, but I think a psion whose emphasis is based on the dreams and terrors of another sentient mind would be very interesting. Powers might include a Psionic Drain. This drain is a way for the Psion to funnel PPs from a sentient life form while they are in fear or shock, or possibly asleep. The weaver would gain immunity or resistance to illusions while being excellent at creating them. Anyone trying to realize an illusion or charm placed by the weaver would do so at a higher penalty that usual.

Just some ideas...

Thanks for the feedback.

The Shadow Templar's spell progression is the same as the Ur-Priest's in Book of Vile Darkness and that class has no particular hindrances to offset its spell progression, on the contrary it has some very nice abilities. The Ur-Priest is in my own opinion too powerful, but in the case of the Shadow Templar I'm just going to say "precedent" and tell people to nod acknowingly. :P

Also the Psionic monk class seems a bit overpowered

Could you elaborate?

The Shadow's sneak attack seems to rival the ogue’s ability (maybe a bit too high?)

Not sure I understand the issue. Many prestige classes grant sneak attack damage increases at every other level.

while the Restorationist could use an additional perk perhaps. I am not too sure about the latter, but it just seems to be missing something.

Garden hoe profiency? :P Just kidding.
