Yeah I was going to post something about all the "whipper snappers" here, but then I realized two things: 1) Dark Sun came out when I was an early teen, so that must mean the fans here are at least in their early 20's. 2) The whole demographic for role playing has shifted to older ages due to the rise of video games. I just wanted to check my assumptions (so far my assumptions were correct).

The average is now 27.13, with a standard deviation of 3.93 years.

I'm only 17 (turning 18 in one-and-a-half months... *sigh*), but I've been into Dark Sun ever since I was old enough to read a book (FYI, I've got a memory that's so frikkin' accurate, I can literally recall in detail when my mother was teaching me to put on a pair of socks. o_0; Seriously). All happened when I entered my dad's study one evening and found him addicted to ye olde Dark Sun: Shattered Lands CRPG that had him hooked; to the point where he'd completely overlooked the fact that 3-year olds aren't supposed to be awake at 1:00 in the morning. ;) Since then, I've had an avid fascination for the setting that existed before I even knew what D&D really was. >_<; Weird, ne?
