Codex of Monsters and Codex of Infinite Planes but not sure what the first book is... looks like it starts with an "F" and I can pick out some "S's" but not sure what the second letter is.

Am I right? Do I win a prize?

Codex of Mo-is an intentional cutoff, you are incorrect its not monsters.

Yes on the Inifinite Planes

Hi all -
Mort I don't like this one much. Not sure I understand the connection between Vatun and Dalt, especially since I was under the (mis)impression that Vatun was a creation by Iuz to fool the Northern Barbarians to get them to invade Tenha. Of course, I haven't quite read up on my GH lore recently, so this could have been recongfigured in the LGG (I think you mention this).

Finally, even if what you say is true, I'm not as fond of this strip as I was of last weeks, simply because last week featured the ONETRUE GOD - PHOLTUS!
I've been meaning to write an article for OJ/CF or someplace on Pholtus and his multiple religions. With the Church of the One True Path (LN) in the Theocracy of the Pale, the Church of the EbonGleam (LE) in the Grand Theocracy of Dimre [Bandit Kingdoms], the Church of Pholtus (LG) throughout the Flanaess, the Church of the Path of Pholtus (LN) those who follow the LN teachings of Pholtus in other places than the Pale, and then iirc a new church sprung up in the Shieldlands. Of course there is the old Church of the Blinding Light (LG) which seceded from the Great Kingdom and fled to modern Pale.
So your choice of interlopers and advisors to Pholtus is certainly intriguing, but I see it more of the humans and demihumas of the lands of the Flanaess that misinterpet the true teachings of Pholtus, 'cept no mortals in the comics.
Otherwise another Fine Comic this week, and everyweek. And I'd like to see your interpretation of the picture of the gods in that portfolio someone's working on as discussed in another thread.
As always, Good job, and you are making a comic in line with many others that are in print - but with a nice Greyhawk twist. Thanks. Thank you very much for your efforts.
Be Well.

It was actually reconfigured in the Player's Guide to Greyhawk back in 1998, which first revealed that Vatun was a real god who had been imprisoned by Telchur (although Iuz impersonated him just before the Wars).

That Vatun and Dalt are brothers was first established in The Scarlet Brotherhood.

And both relationships were repeated in the Living Greyhawk Gazetteer.

Yeah rip, I wasn't overly excited when they made Vatun a permanent addition for the northern barbarians to have. I guess the regular Suel pantheon wasn't 'Viking' enough for Sargent. How he ended up Dalt's brother is a head scratcher but I guess it's better than anything else. What about Vatun interests you Lassiviren?

Issak, I would certainly like to see your idea for a Pholtus article. I share your belief that he can be viewed in multiple alignment paths. He in a sense would make a good monotheistic deity. As for doing drawings I assume based on the DMPrata Deity Portfolio, I am kinda doing that albeit at a snails pace. He is cataloguing more deities than I'll ever know or ever need to know. He claims it is a 1000 page document so that'd be what? 200-250 deities?

Thanael: My only source is the LGG which says he appears as a white haired man with piercing eyes or alternatively red haired and younger IIRC. Anyhoo, my twisted mind immediately thought of Doc Brown's never-blinking bug eyes and the messy hair. How could I resist plus it gives Dalt some characterization without trying too hard. What about Vatun interests you Lassiviren?

I ran the Howl from the North and Five Shall Be One a long time ago. I always thought the idea of Telchur imprisoning Vatun and his followers (and brother Dalt) trying to free him was kinda cool. The modules themselves weren't the greatest but the overall idea is pretty good. I changed the blades of the swords creating an arcane spell into each of the blades having a singular power that is needed to free Vatun from his prison. Sorta like a Greek epic where the hero has to use a different relic in turn to accomplish his goal.

Plus as you pointed out, Vatun is Dalt's brother and yet he doesn't really show up until the Suel make it to the Thillonrian peninsula.

Oh and the Age of Worms strip is great, keep up the good work.

Hi all -
I wanted to post a comment regarding the Greyhawkian Idol comic but that day the WotC boards were taking forever to load.
Being that Pholtus is very strong willed, and somewhat wishywashy, I do like the way that he was portrayed. The speach was indeed dogmatic, and as such, it was a good speech, but it treads on some of his areas - or those of his followers (which in some cases, believe that he IS the ONLY deity). So he must decry it as a bad examle of dogma, although he must internally taking notes for which the Theocrat can be handed while on the Throne of the Sun.

The Throne of the Sun is what brings me to the next strip.
Ok, enough with the Rao crap. PHOLTUS IS THE GOD OF THE SUN (caps cause I'm yelling!). The Sunny Delight of Pholtus and his Sunny Disosition. Or what about EbonGleam Prune Juice (since nobody can really like prune juic, and since nobody can really likes the EbonGleam followers of Pholtus [shhh, i follow]).
On the milk, shouldn't it be either Dalt's brother (just a few episodes ago), or better yet, the missing T? Or one of the ex-imprisoned gods from the ol' wacky wizard? Sure the milk would be sour, but the expiration date on the tab might give an example of why.
I don't quite know Fortubo or why the cereal would be named after him. Yondalla on the other hand, with her gord of food - now that's a cereal box cover.
Be Well, and thanks again for the "horrible work."

LOL. Thanks for the passioned Pholtan review, Theo. I agree on Pholtus's assessment of the speech.

As for the juice...it is Sunny 'P' (As in Pelor, not Rao) altho it could've been Pholtus too if not for that holy symbol on the label.

Yes Yondalla or maybe Merikka would've made more sense for a -healthy cereal, BUT...50% of cereals don't make sense and are named after every corny character out there. Cereals most of the time need a jingle sound too. I went with the 'O' theme. It was either Noreb-O's, Xerb-O's or Fortub-O's. I decided to give Fortubo his first break on the comic. Hmm, in hindsight, Pholtus Flakes would've sang. They're Grrreat! ;)

The same first time appearance applies to Zuoken who IS one of those deities trapped by the mad archmage you mention. Well, at least he is according to 3E-hawk. The LGG just says he is missing.

Any other deity cereal box ideas out there?

Hi all -
Ok, Mort, Thursday just doesn't cut it. So here's another threat....(1st was more Pholtus bashing and I pull the rug).
If there isn't a comic on Monday and Thursday for now on, then funding is yanked.
I mean, you're not being fair to the loyal readers of World of GreyComics. I feel that at times, I must go back to episode one and start all over.
I know you've got some deadline about stopping and 2x a week publishing would get you there twice as fast - but oh well. I mean, what's the point of getting there if it aint there for you to get to (meaning no place to leave your grafitti).
So, Monday...New Episode, Thursday New Episode, Monday New Episode, and so on.
So what if you have work/wife/kids/D&D gaming/whatever, set those off to the side. Put the kids on the stove, use the game books as reference material (this gives you a chance to use your GH material), give the wife (or other domestic partner - including the cat/dog/hamster) the TV remote (there's another comic topic - giant pigmy hamsters from space watching TV and eating Pholtus Pops - see I'm helping you long so much, all you gotta do is put pencil to paper).
So I'm looking forward to the new episoe on Monday. Monday. I'm gonna help too. I'll start spamming the boards about how the comic is gonna be published twice weekly. This'll give you even more expousure to your classic comics!

Nobody wants to see this guy drawing more than me and I've been watching him draw for 28 years...since Kindergarten! We gotta draw the line somewhere! Hi all -
Kas was previously involved, but he's not quite mortal, he's something more akin to a demi-god or at least a demi-hero or whatever that rank is that's more than mortal and less than demi-god - so he qualifies (and isn't Kas really based off some Earth guy that did something similiar with the same name? Or have I been playing D&D for 28yrs and have begun to mix up things that I learned in history class in the 6th grade with things I learned in Greyhawk Class in the 5th grade? I'm thinking Boby Yaga here [sic, that chicken housed thing]).
So I'm saying that Kas is allowed. I can also see on the rare occasion a mortal being in the strip, becasue: A) he's a very powerful mortal, such as Warduke, Mordy and a few of the Co8 that are legendary [not the more recent replacements], even Rary and his Iron Horse would be cool; B) because they are part of the chess pieces being used - like the movie with Harry Hamlin has the hero, and the Kraken, and the gods place his miniature in the Collisium and place another miniature of the scorpion and he has to fight it (theres the golden owl, the guy that also played Rocky's trainer) and its the Gods that are discussing their next "move."; and C) He is a god's mortal avatar or a mortal spokesperson for the god/church/religion.
But a fakie mariachi band, and a waiter (he rolled low on his inititive).

At least Rudd is hot. Are there plans for a pictorial spread? Weejas might be ticked if she's not included, something like July might be well for her, but then maybe Decemeber with the new death thing, so she could get a 2 month spread. This reminds me about someone doing a Babes of the Pale calendar for 2003, Derek Schurtz (iirc). It was interesting and I'd love to see the Greyhawk Calendar "spiffied" up. A "Goddess Babes of Greyhawk Calendar" - would be a nice touch. Too many of the calendars are just plain or have symbols for some of the gods. Yondalla isn't really a babe, I mean, how hot can a Halfling be, but she's a sure fit for November, because Lloth has to be October. That forest chick, E something (human/olve), she's cute, and I'm thinking a conversion of Olivia's art of a zebra-stripped woman sitting on a pale zebra, or in this case a unicorn.
Damn, just more things for you to do in your massive amounts of spare time.
Be Well.

You sir are a loon.

Mortals sneak into the strip time to time, but Kas was a perfect exemption. The parody I had set up almost demanded he be the main character. While on the subject Kas easily would've been a candidate for an evil-hero-god under Vecna if he had remained loyal. I mean, Kelanen, Keoghtom, HEWARD?! come on! pfft. Kas probably has a higher kill count than Robocop and he Terminator combined!

Babes of GH had been jokingly discussed one time in greychat iirc. A deity calendar otoh, that could get ugly:

Istus-she is timeless and has three different forms, so what month and visage to choose?! Does each reader see her as a different age and on a different month?

Tiamat-5 heads, all woman, ooh la la

Correllon Larethian-adrogynous, could somehow make the list, eww

ugh, I cannot go on!

Hi all -
Please back me on this, guys. Mortellan's the guy that started this whole Greyhawk Gods in a Comic strip idea, so if anybody is a little "whacked" it's him.
And that is just gross, bringing up any Woman with 5 heads. She'd never shut up. That's why even the devils, demons and deities have bannished her to one of the lower planes, and why Kyrnn had to devlop those walking dragonthings - because she couldn't get anybody to mate with her.

Istus, is like all women that take time in the mirror every morning, and are concerned about the "crows feet" around their eyes. When I asked her for a headshot foto, she emailed me one from her days in college, which I expect was somewhere around age 23. She understands how you depict her now, but she wrote something about...."his fate has been sealed, so even an old and haggered picture of me would matter little...." - she said it wasn't for me to worry about. Theocrats know when to disengage their Communion with False Gods TV sets.
Elves are just sick, unless they're Liv Tyler. But I wanted to be fair, so I called upon Correllon Larethian. He likes to think of himself as having pointy ears, and less dark, than another famous Man with whom he truly ispired. Lando Calrision. The names are similliar, just slightly off, but Correllon did ask George Lucas to not use his likeness. George did, and according to Correllon, "even took my name and moved some letters around, with no royalty payments, that punk." (Direct Quote).
It's good to be the Theocrat. The Gods do discuss things with me. Often its this triffle krap that I don't really have time to deal with, but they come at me anyway.
Be Well.
- p.s. I already explained why I didn't ask Tiamat her opinion. I'm still cringing at the voices in my head tyring to sort out what she said last year when I asked her what she thought about WotC selling a illiograph of her likeness and if she was recieving royalties for it.

Uhh...that'd be kinda hard since he's the DM. I know he's not really my friend. Only known him since kindergarten, what...1976? I'd only give him the shirt offa my back (it'd be three sizes too big but I'd give it to him). Go to his job at midnight and fix the side mirror on his truck at no cost to him. Build him a sand bag holder for the back of his truck to keep em from slamming into the back of his cab at-no-cost-to-him. 29 years I've had his back and he can't draw my new cool PC idea. Oh I know why...it'd be too hard for him.

You don't know how right you are! In Howl From the North, Dale Henson writes:

As you turn about, you see a barbarian giant standing before you. Appearing perfectly human, except for his 12-foot height, the man smiles down at you with a kind face. Two huge wolves stand to either side on each side of him... Now by the illustration of this scene (by Ken Frank), he is also in FULL PLATE armor holding a helmet with a clean shaven face!!!

This flies in the face of his LGG description which reads more like a description of Telchur (concidentally his captor) than the image that Iuz 'used' in the original adventure. So I'm left with a quandry. Did the entire barbarian population not know what their god looked like and Iuz just made something up? Or was the LGG writer's description way off base in an attempt to make him more barbaric than the silly plate armoured manifestation drawn in HftN.

I think SKR just wanted to make him unique looking.

I did a picture for DMPrata's online god thingy and made him naked (from the waist up anyway ;) ) with a polar bear cloak and the icicle beard -- even attempted the 'starbreak' breath.

The Odin idea is kinda cool though, maybe if he ever escapes he will have some scars unique to his confinement.

MasterGraz, that's a flattering idea and a market I wouldn't even try to corner. If you want to try and do a version of my comic go for it, I'd read it! I like most of the FR pantheon and I sometimes riff off them in comparison to GH (I've referenced Mystra to be sure), Planescape I sometimes use for inspiration but I don't adhere to it entirely and DL I know nothing past the original Chronicles. An advantage I have right now is GH's core status gives many of my deities identifiability for new 3E era readers as much as the obscure gods do for the hardcore GH fans since 1E. If you'd like to brainstorm, just email or PM me.

Hi all -
Being that I don't yet have my Dragon / Dungeon for the month, last weeks comic was an informercial. Nice going, blowing the whole damn issue for me. It's like I don't even need to read it. It's about Vecna, and all I really needed to know about Vecna I read in that comic/ graphic novel by that Viking guy - in which PHOLTUS was the STAR!!!!

Hi all -
Haahaahaahaaa......

My Cleopatra (she's the big white and tan girlie sitting at my feet in Mort's picture)has a soccer ball with 2 ropes at the ends of it and beats herself from side to side. She then approaches me and swings it so I'll kick it. She holds it, just so...just so I'll kick it, and then runs away just as my foot has left the ground, and I yell out....."Lucy...you...*****....." She is a female dog after all.

Mort, what a nice tribute to Mr. Schultz. Although I don't know if Rao is the best good guy to be tripped up, unless you wanted to use the crick/crook thing that you did. Although there isn't a sports deity, what about Malar of beats, since she's of beats and pigskins. The urd's Xvart might work well since their small. Although, Zilchus should have played a part somewhere, since NFL gambling is not just big business but has spawned my whole city (Vegas Baby).

Be Well, and another awesome job. Oh, and if my godly names are messed up, The Theocrat is on high suffering from a bout of not-goodieness caused by one of them evil gods so take that into consideration!

Hi all -
Mort -
Even with the note about St. Ceril and all the other Saint's, I didn't care of this weeks work. Kord is the brawler, what's he doing with the forms of paper and in triplicate? Zilchus maybe, he was my first thought, esp. since he'd wanna make sure there was a fair deal going on. Pelor, hmm, maybe, but I'd think Rao more, esp. cause of the Crook of Rao and that being an artifact, or Wee Jas since she's the god of magic (now). Nerull, well, sure, he's evil and all so of course he'd throw a fit about something, although (and I can't recall off hand) I'd think that an evil god that had positive dealings with Iuz would be the one that would be questioning Cuthbert's motives. Don't remember Graz'zt, but he'd come up for air, same with his wicked girlFIEND.
But all in all, another solid idea and concept and it makes me think about gods that I'd most likely not.
Be Well.

I thought I commented. Guess it was just in my head.
I loved it, and that's where I got the Phoolish me part for my final comment.
I esp. like the heretic roast, sicne that works so well with coffee and our "heretic roast" in the Pale. It not only takes a bit of cartooning skill but massive understanding and knowledge of the WoG in general, sometimes its almost sick.

So Lendor? Are you drawing Kord and Lendor very similiarily? Maybe you'll need to draw one with both, in a look-a-like contest or something. Or working at 7-11 with name tags. Or a Convention - Hello, My Name is _______ - or speed dating, since that's a theme you've done in the past.
What about inviting some of the savage tide style gods - you know from the hidden shrine module, or from skr's SB book (I prefer EGG's book of Greek-Africa), but with Paizo doing all this stuff with the southern region of the world, it might be nice to see one of the new gods. Or Kysus, since he just had a horrible day.

Well a few strips back (Gods in Space) I featured brief cameos by Camazotz and Mictlantecuhtli. Kyuss made a cameo on Grazzt's talk show a few months back and might show again when you least expect it. As to Savage Tide, oh yes it will be parodied once we learn more of it. :D

Hi all -
Vegas, Baby or not, it's still getting a little hard nipplely out at night. Even the evil cat, "Goblin" is looking to me for wormth. Which means, I'm on the Inquisition warpath, and this, this, this heretical take on the City of the Gods grounds for Execummunication from the Church of the One True Path, the Church of the Holy Oerthian Patheon, and the Holiest of Holy Heliocentic view of Oerth as the center of the UNIVERSE.
You will be punished.
I do agree with the opening, in that it's still up in the canonical air as to its official location if we'd wanted in our world. If it is in our world, it would have to be on the western Oerik section of the continent. But wasn't City of the Gods and the rest of the DA series modules set in Arensun's Blackmoor? I mean, I do have the original campaign I could go look at and re-search, but too much work.
I mean, it's not like it's XL Quest for the Heart Stone or something, something that has very D&D iconic people and no real location. Nor is it as awesome as PUPPETS. God what an awesome module. Childs Play ruled, giving us a whole new country. Or Miska the Wolf Nomand and his *****-Princess wolf pups. Supposedly, in your neck of the woods. Use some of those weird things that are Greyhawkish, more than CoG. Have ol' Flanny Guide walk around and discuss them, "Hmm, where did that nation go I was reading up on." "I thought there was an Olven queen for life over in Yeomanry."
Now that's a good topic.
Different topic this week, but definetly excommunicateable from the Church of the One True Path.

Hi all -
Right here, right now, and for all time that this can be read (and unless the world goes Jericho, we should be fine), lets never speak of it again. In fact, it was a mistake. UbberHawk is what was said. Even Eweberhawk, as a sheepskin wearing hawk, is better than that ghastly mistake.
I for one have gone Grumesh-style and poked one of my eyes out for having read it, even typed those nasty words. We need a moderator in here to delete that post.

Damn, I'm gonna have to delete that comic strip too, just because I gotta do my part to cleanse the internet (the one that Al Gore created and Mark Foley passed legislation to stop people like Mr. Foley [not Axel Foley]). Thus, you may see a 404 page instead of his comic this week (and for all time). See, Net Neutrality didn't pass, so now the net is Lawful Neutral just like my Palish Pholtines, and we follow the laws of the land, which would be the laws of the Pale which as the Theocrat, are what I make them. Thus, that particular WoGComic will forever be defined as heretical and thus stricken from the Holy GreyhawkOnline.com files. We do not wish to have little children influenced. Adults are smart enough, especially those that play in Greyhawk. Children need to be protected, they need their lands developed and made essential to what they perceive a world to be with magic and mayhem. No longer can their be giants, dragons and castles that could very easily defeated by a simple spell or two, thus reducing the actual effectiveness of the castle without some sort of reasoning for its ample defenses. In a magical society, such as Eweberhawk, the technological power is the same if not more advanced than our current culture, and the Minority Report could become a social aspect via a few divinity spells, and a zone of truth thrown in for good measure. Castles are not needed when a few Mordenkainen's spells are used (because after all, this is Eweberhawk and his spells would work), or even the lowly Rope Trick, which certainly could save on space and rent. Yeah, yeah, a spell duration might place a limit, but come on, we've got locomotives and androids (I mean rustbuckets).

Ok, didn't mean to make it an issue. As Theocrat, I am the only one allowed to fully research the forbidden book of the EbonGleam. However, I feel that as long as you are a worshipper of Pholtus, even if it is of the wrong church (its much easier to convert a heathen to the One True Path of Pholtus when he's already down a Pholtan path), that the words of false gods or even the words of Pholtus that have been perverted are better than no words that speak the truth. I will therefore not strike the from the books of lore known to the world as GreyhawkOnline.com with the blasphemy that is Oct. 19, 2006 WoG Comic.

Be Well, be well read, and be learned, and do not make mistakes!

Hi all -
As Theocrat, it is important to be well read. In tyrannical societies, leaders have learned that a learned society is harder to control, thus they outlaw books. However, more educated societies provide more income. And we all know that god requires his 10% cut, because he's got a great use for it, being god and all. And as his Theocrat, and thus tithe collector, I get to spend his cut as I wish (remember, I'm the guy he speaks to, so I know his wishes - for me to have 24 wives each of which is 24yrs old and are hotties!).
So in the end, I'm saying that heathen lore, and Rose Estes should still be stuff that is read. While I was 8 when I started playing D&D and Greyhawk, I didn't read Estes or the Gord novels until I was in my mid twenties (only 10 yrs ago). Those novels and stories still haunt my nightmares, yet, they provided me with the foundation to which I rule the phaithphul of Pholtus (everybody in essence): The more well read and educated, the more you will believe in god and tithe to me (Bush believes, went to an Ivy league school and the grand 'ol US of A has only lost to Turkey as believing in creationism more than evolution out of all the non-third world countries). God willing, I'm gonna set up my own cult of personality - Believe in the Greyhawk!
So read your heathen literature. Tithe to THE Theocrat (god's on a Halloween celebration kick and has discounted your tithe to only 6% this month, so be sure to save that other 4% for the time that you've been naughty..

Be Well, be extremely well read, tithe only 6% this month, be phaithphul.

Hi all -
Mort, did Schultz ever take a day off? Snoopy vs the Red Barron? Did Hobbes give Calvin a break? Bill the Cat took time off, after his election bid failed, but did Opus? We know Milo would have never left Bloom County citizens hanging for more. Does Bucky-Kat leave Satchel or Rob alone? Week off. More like Weak Off.

I know, I'm sounding like your unGREATful boss or some such, I'll just remember that when Derek asks for his $30 hosting fee this month and inform him that we decided to take a week off, so we should get a pro-rated discount for only 23 days for November.
Sheeh. UnGREATful hostee's.

Ok, so there is a chair. Doesn't seem to be out of place. It's closer to a Lazy Boy than what I'd really expect, but without their logo, I think it sits well. Pun
intended. Necklace isn't so detailed as to say that it doesn't belong to the era of magical medievel ages. His robes are mundane magical robes with ancient runes of week off power. Seems to fit his past outfits. His grey slippers of foot warmth seem to be missing the Nike logo, thus keeping with time period. His book doesn't appear to have any words on the covers or pages - so unless he's reading an invisible ink Playboy, that doesn't seem to be out of the ordinary. His hair? His 'stash? He's got 5 fingers each hand. I didn't notice an earring.
I love these Where's Waldo searches. Thinking about it, in the back of my newspapers classified section they always have the find six things missing from picture A and B. They don't take a day off. Hmmm, guess while working today, I'll have to keep coming back to the image and study it. Carp. That means I'll be busy while you're slacking off.
Oh well, my rants make up for the extra credit I'd get. Worse yet, I'll come up with an idea for a strip (I'm in Vegas, BABY!). Which reminds me...Mhyriss hasn't been seen.....how did they tip girlies before paper money?

Enjoy the rants of a Phanatical Lunatic Pholtan Theocrat!

Be Well.

Hi all -
Ok, I've already provided topic ideas, but here is a re-cap and some new ones:
- Flanny Guide Dude walks around the Flannaess and points out that the nation in Childs Play isn't on any of his maps, that the town in one of those other phantasy modules has a sign that says "Thieves Guild" above the door, or the "queen for life" in Yeomanry.
- Mhyriss dancing for tips
- Dalt or another "learn't" god discusses with Pholtus about his spheres of influence and the massively different churches and why he'd provided spells to an evil church (EbonGleam! Baby!)
- Correlean Loranth (that Faerie she-male) discusses his marriage to the human goddess and how they made the elves (or was that a Necromancer book I was reading about their elven gods)
- Speaking of Olven's - discuss why the original PHB has it as Elf's, elves, and such and we have Olves, Dwur, and Hobniz?
- Ok, maybe Gnarles "Barkley" Glitterdome from Deities & Demigods isn't exactly a GH stud, but why ain't he and Yenomesh (that Grassy Gnoll god) shown more often?
- I know you don't show mortals, but why not Zilchus telling his followers to tithe more, or better yet, speaking down to an alter filled with golden goblets melted down, saying "now what the $%@$^* am I supposed to do with that?"
- I know you've kinda discussed WeeJas stealing a portfolio, but st. cuthbert is a THIEF too....he snatched Tritheiron's power of retribution and revenge right out from under his 2nd Ed. PHB.

Ok, there. Some of them are nice and offensive and other are silly and some are intriguing. Sure doesn't make up for me lambasting with lemonony sauce for taking time off, but yellow bellies are still yellow.

Be BBQ'd on hot Pholtan Phire.

Good one, I forgot that I wanted to lampoon Rose Estes. Check.

- Mhyriss dancing for tips

Hmmmmmm racy. check.

- Dalt or another "learn't" god discusses with Pholtus about his spheres of influence and the massively different churches and why he'd provided spells to an evil church (EbonGleam! Baby!)

Moral lessons, a possibility. Check.

- Correlean Loranth (that Faerie she-male) discusses his marriage to the human goddess and how they made the elves (or was that a Necromancer book I was reading about their elven gods)

Yeah that one is off a bit, he is married to the elven goddess Sehanine. But I will look into the adrogynous marriage aspect perhaps. Check.

- Speaking of Olven's - discuss why the original PHB has it as Elf's, elves, and such and we have Olves, Dwur, and Hobniz?

Hmm, errr, yeah there's a joke in there somewhere. Check.

- Ok, maybe Gnarles "Barkley" Glitterdome from Deities & Demigods isn't exactly a GH stud, but why ain't he and Yenomesh (that Grassy Gnoll god) shown more often?

????? lol

- I know you don't show mortals, but why not Zilchus telling his followers to tithe more, or better yet, speaking down to an alter filled with golden goblets melted down, saying "now what the $%@$^* am I supposed to do with that?"

Mortals have insinuated themselves into the strip time to time. Zilchus DOES need to have a talk I agree, his wife is very needy. check.

- I know you've kinda discussed WeeJas stealing a portfolio, but st. cuthbert is a THIEF too....he snatched Tritheiron's power of retribution and revenge right out from under his 2nd Ed. PHB.

And there is the best idea of them all! I love cross-edition topics. check.

Hi all -
Now I feel obligated to post something. It's gotta be a lot of work to come up with idea's to parody in general, and then your overall talent. And then you have "fans" which require, nay "Demand" excellent work.
So in general I like the objects. But the throne is iffy. The answering machine doesn't belong. So since I'm gonna say that those two shouldn't be there, I'll provide two of my non-favorites.
That mask/mirror of inescapeable beauty. I recall seeing it in some official WotC work (like ELH, BoED, or A&E). But the Mask of Johdee (right?) could be used or abused.
What about a decanter of endless water and a figurine of wonderous power - figurine of endless wife/husband nagging (with a pic of Wee Jas and Norebo [to tie in with Dragon] or Zilchus and his "new" bride [from a past issue, with him having to buy his wife things]).
Ok, just a couple thoughts. Not that I'm saying, in anyway, that you "should" you know, check with me first to get "better" ideas.
As always, good work, and excellent stuff to parody with myself.
Be Well, Be Well Played.

I did ponder Johydee's Mask but came up blank. The Jacinth of Beauty was a tricky one as well, with 3E you get a larger pool of artifacts but they arent as iconic as some of the old school ones. I'd be hard pressed to do a third least relic episode as such.

Anyhow, for your Pholtine censoring, I submit that my next two comics will be on Wee Jas in honor of the Core Beliefs article in the newest Dragon Mag. Then in December I'll be going into some reader ideas, including the Honorable Theocrat's. Then...the return of the Needfest Special!

Maldin, THOSE ideas will probably come later on down the road, I'm referring to non-relic related ones. Then again, you -might- make a contribution in one shape or another after all .

Hi all -
So who the 9 plains of hell does this MALDIN character think he is? I mean, what is a Maldin? Is that some disease? Does my foot fall off if I catch a Maldin? Not that a mort itch is any better, mind you.
But I'm just wondering what exactly are his contributions to the Greyhawk world setting? Huh? A map? Heh, I could draw a map. In fact I have. Sure the players are still looking for Niole Dra, but it isn't my fault they can't follow the river. Again, just because I used the map of the Pale.......(hmmm, maybe that isn't the best line of printed text to help my case....)
Ok, so since I don't have any further strong argument cases, I'm going back to calling Maldin names....and stuff....his nose is too big.

Well, I hope Maldin's has some good idea's if he get's to compete with me! Cause my grandiose plans, well they are a secret!
Be Well.

Yet another secret project? Ho hum. Too many of them around already, including my own.

Incidently... Erik's big project has finally been spilled by Wizards.
