Web enhancement for VRGttWD!

Mar 07, 2005 15:41:12 The Fraternity Of Shadows is very pleased to host a new web enhancement for the VRG to the Walking Dead! Rucht Lilavivat sent us this "cut" material featuring a story with Toben the Many, three more undead and burial rules for the plane of Dread.

You can get this new material on the FoS site (www.FraternityOfShadows.com, just follow the link on the news page).

We wish to thank Rucht for this new file.

Strange ... I don't see why, but somehow the FoS link doesn't work, it seem to be searching inside the WotC site.

Yup, it works, instead of just "url", you need "url=" in the brackets.

While it is always nice to see new material, to be honest this didn't do much for me. I'm not really fond of the "Hannibal Lecter" approach taken with Toben in the framing fiction. That and the dialogue was fairly silly in spots .. particularly when discussing the last form of Walking Dead ... you could hear the speaker capitalizing the phrase when he spoke, as if he intended it to be the heading in a book all along.

But, it was kind of the author to pass it on nonetheless and I don't want him to feel discouraged should he read this. It simply wasn't my cup of tea.

The description of the cell itself, however, was very atmospheric.
