If you have not picked up this monstrosity of a supplement, you are not a True Dungeon Crawler (Prc ;) ). It is pricey ($100 new), big (has every critter in the SRD) and well done (great story, great graphics). I've been reminiscing about those hot summer days waaaaaaaaay back in 1980 where we were always doing this or that dungeon crawl. And I've been plotting how or where I can put it in Greyhawk.

Currently, I've been thinking about putting it in the Empire of Iuz.

Since TWLD is a prison made for Fiends, by Celestials...it fits within the story of the banishment of the Fiends that recently occurred...

TWLD is really cool. I havn't read even 10% of the thing yet, but it still is very cool. I'm not sure how it directly fits into GH, but I'm in a GH game where the DM is doing just that, throwing in TWLD. I look forward to trapsing through it's corridors but whether or not this product has any GH feel to it, is yet to be determined. I leaning towards NO though, but that's just me.

Another option is to put it the lands of former Suel Empire.

It can be used, fairly easily; as GH has a lot of hints about dungeons-but not too many that have been developed for play.

Hmm, in the Suel empire hugh... are you talking current Tilvanot Pen empire, or pre-migration. I think it could work well as a dungeon from the past.

I havn't continued reading the book because I may play in that dungeon in the near future, but TWLD may have 'Hawk possibilities -- especially now that I think more about it.

Just a 'few'. Just as TWLD can be 'connected' to Forgotten Realms' 'Undermountain', it can be 'connected' to that infamous Temple.

Whenever the PCs enter the dungeon, they should come out in another part of the Flanaess. For example, they enter it in the Kron Hills and the next exit out they find leaves them in the Adri Forest. That should emphasize to them just how large the "World's Largest Dungeon" is. :D

Of course, what you won't be telling them is that each entrance is really just a planar gateway that connects to random places in Greyhawk and that the entire dungeon is on a demiplane somewhere.

IMC the World's Largest Dungeon is beneath the Land of Black Ice; I figure it's remained undiscovered for so long since the land itself is so inhospitable and it's also "blocked off" by the City of the Gods. I'm maybe figuring that the ice itself is someone's way of sealing off the dungeon.

Do adventurers come out of this dungeon, or does the whole campaign take place down in the depths?

It's all there, levels 1-20 in the dungeon - Escaping is one of the basic goals of the campaign.

So really it could be anywhere in Greyhawk, since there's no contact with the outside world. Of course if you play the whole campaign in a non-Greyhawk dungeon, are you really playing Greyhawk?

Isn't it possible to play any generic adventure in any given setting? I think it would be nice for all of WOTC's adventures to be generic. They could provide a page or three of suggestions of how to hook said adventure into just about any setting, GH, FR, DL etc. Just a thought.

Put it in Celene, the moon. There is supposed to be an extensive Underdark there. The PCs could find a portal leading to it.
