I know that the Abyss has a symbol (the infinitity symbol with an arrow thru it I believe). Does Carceri have a similiar symbol for the plane?

Thanks.

Carceri's Symbol is an arrow pointing upwards with an eye in front of it. I am unclear what this symbolizes.

The ascent of the titans checked by the watchful Olympian eye?

Or perhaps it symbolizes the attempted escape of the trapped Carcerians checked by the ever vigilant eye of their jailers...

Or maybe it symbolizes someone getting shot in the eye when they try to look through a peep hole.

Or maybe it symbolizes delicious marshmallow peeps!

I thought the arrow pointed ... down?

Which would mean that the eye is just the constant paranoia that many Carcerians demonstrate, and the arrow means it's a lower plane?

Nope: it goes up.

You think that the symbol of Carceri means chicken?

But... peeps are delicious... and made of marshmallow!

And they are imprisoned cruelly in celophane. In neat little rows upon rows, seemingly identical, yet each one subtly different.

From their transparent confinement they can gaze out upon the heedless world, only a thin layer of film separating them from their freedom. Oh how they suffer in agony as they long to run free with the other peeps!

And just at the moment when they think they have been freed from their endless plastic torment, they are devoured, chewed-up, and utterly consumed by titanic uncaring beings of immense power.

Is that not a perfect metaphor for Carceri? ;)

*Smiles, nods, backs away slowly and looks for the nearest bleaker*

Okay, looking at it again, it kind of looks to me like a sphere within a hollow sphere threaded on a needle.

Cruel Xaositect, why do you taunt me so? I very much enjoy marshmallow peeps, but am unable to eat them. They liquefy into an unmanageable sticky mess just by being near me.
