Hey everyone,

I'm curious as to how Elijayess, the Kagonesti warrior who guides the party through the Desolation, was utilized in different people's Key of Destiny campaigns. Did DM's use him as scripted? Was he incorporated in any interesting or unusual ways? How did the party receive him? Was he a help?

In Horus' campaign journals, he was suspected as the possible "traitor" but was still a big help with the party's adventures and as an extra voice for the DM. His take was very entertaining. How did your party use him?

He's been rather useful for my group, seeing as how 2 of the 3 regulars are spell casters, so they needed the extra muscle. I keep him around as an extra fighter to help the group survive. Since he's an NPC under my control though, and I have privledged info on the adventure, I typically don't act through him very much unless the party addresses him directly.

I think he is very good "back-up" person if party is missing people or don't have ranger or druid to help them through the Desolation. Or just extra sword if party is little low in level.

My party took him well. I made him really important (he knew about dangers of Desolation and helped party many ways - finding water...etc.). And then after Peak of Malys party sends him to lead the kenders away from Desolation when party itself continues adventures.
