Anyone got the Ravenloft Limited Edition book?
Is it 3.0 or 3.5? If 3.5 is it the PHB or the DMG?
Is it worth getting it?

EDIT: OK, so i posted a bit too hasty. It appears it was published in 2001 so it has to be the 3.0 Ravenloft Campaign book. That stilll leaves the last question: is it worth getting?

Also are there any changes in it for example have the eratta been incorporated...

I`m also curious abuot the amount of additional info that the two 3.5 books have in comparison to the 3.0 RL book. Is there new equipment? new rules? what are they?

I don't own it, but IIRC, they came out at the same time (or the limited edition might have been even a week early or something.) so I think the only difference was the fancy cover...

There was a hefty price difference back then as well, the limited edition was twice the price of the regular setting book, because of it's faux leather cover and a ribbon bookmark. They were also numbered, mine is #1243 out of 3000.

Price, cover and ribbon. That's it. For true fans only and collectors.
No errata, no 3.5 and no real difference.
But probably looks all shiny on the bookshelf.

Thanks for the info..

Since i won't be getting one, here's a link to the completed ebay auction that started me thinking on the Limited edition:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=6952093267

So if anyone wants the L.E. (plus two extra books) just contact the seller and I'm sure he'll sell it for $10 plus postage.

I haven't looked at mine in so long that I forgot they were numbered...Looks like 2281. It was so expensive I just put it on the shelf beside the normal book, which I also don't use a whole lot because my campaign started in 735 and has reached July 740 after a little over five years. At that rate, I should be ready for the 3.0 book in, oh, 2020 or something... :D
