I am nearly finshing War Of Souls trilogy although unfortuantly I actully knew what is going to happen in the future (due to the aid from the divine sight of the d&d books) so dont worry about spoilers.

I just want to know how much elves do you estimate live on Krynn.(not including sea elves)

lets review the damages:
Qualinesti:
1.many died in the war with Bril and her army.
2.Nareka Knights probebly killed even more of the qualinesti.
3.it was said that only couple of tousends made it through the dust plains. (according to some chapter) and many of them died due to the devilish sun.
4.Probebly not much but the ogres' rocks hit some elves.

Silvensti:
1.The sheild killed many elves.
2.amm...im not sure if the green dragon(which I dont really know his name in english) in silvensti made some damge, but I think he did some.
3.Some were killed by Nareka Knigts after Mina left.
4.Evil big Minotaurs with evil intentions.
5.Probebly not much but the ogres' rocks hit some elves.

I probebly missed some points and didnt include the war over sanction because I havent read about it yet. But it seems the number of elves isnt really chearful for elves fans like me.

I also wish to know if there is any information regarding what the elves gonna do with themselves? are they gonna settle in the Dust plains (funny joke) or they see the forests in ergoth their main destenation or if they still lick the wounds for a big invasion into their beloved old homes?

In my campaign, the elves have all united (even the kagonesti) and are secretly building an army to recapture silvanesti from the minotaurs. I got the number of elves (including none combatants) at about 25,000. This doesnt include the kagonesti. Just my ideas.

According to a census that had been conducted on Ansalon, there are no more than two elves.

However, at least three elves have gone on record as challenging the gully dwarves who collected the data.

You can find the amount of silvanesti elfs in the page 136 of the AoM book.

There are precisely seven elves left on Ansalon.

Two of them subscribe to Match.com under the screen names of Sugar & Spice.

Three of them got hooked on dwarven crystals and fell into a hole outside Thorbardin.

One became the Solamnic Ambassador to Taladas.

And the last is a writer in Palanthas preparing to publish his memoirs on the elven exodus titled Sand in My Groin: My Trip With Gilthas.

Peace.

Finish book first. It doesn't matter how many are there, just that they still exist.

I am seeing only one serious response, I will toss my hat in the ring. I made the number of Qualinesti rather low, right about 17,000 or so. Thats how many made it across the deserts. With the Silvanesti, I would say that about 20,000 live outside of the Silvan nation, and another 5 - 6,000 live inside the boarders in captivity. I personally never liked elves, but after watching them get ***** slapped like they have been, I feel bad for them and plan to get them back into stronger numbers. Of course, we all know that the Silvanesti will become only more socialy regressive with the capturing of their homeland, and the Qualinesti may become the largest nation of diplomats because of their leader and how they survived the devastation, but thats another story.
