Since the adventure modules released for 3.x(Forge of Fury, Sunless Citadel, etc.) aren't specifically set on any setting, so I assume they are set on D&D's default setting.(if nothing is specified, then the default is true). But where would they be on the map of Greyhawk? Oh, and as a point to prove that the adventure modules are set on Greyhawk, the fourth adventure, 'The Standing Stone' mentions the elven kingdom of Celene, which is in Greyhawk.

Answer: anywhere you care to place them.

Simply put, there is no 'canon' answer to that question since WotC didn't see fit to give us any.

However, it has appeared on this board quite a few times in the past so if you hunt for old threads, you might be able to find suitable locations suggested by other GH fans.

On the LGG map I placed Forge of Fury in hex G1-76 on the Northern Edge of the Good Hills between the second "O" and the "D".

I also placed the Nightfang Spire in hex X-7 just to the right of "Mistlake" on the map.

Hope I gave the coordinates right.

These were placed more because they fit best in my campaign at those locations but in Hindsight I wouldn't normally have put them in those locations. I probably would have placed the Forge of Fury in Geoff and tied it into the Giant and Humanoid invasion and I probably wouldn't have placed the Nightfang so close to Maure Castle but I thought a place like Nightfang fit into the Cairn/Abbor-Alz area. Not really sure why.. just a gut feeling i guess.

Either way, both the sites worked out great and the party recently revisited Forge of Fury as another group of Derro had taken the stronghold in my campaign.

I wish more generic adventures like those would come out.... they really did fit just about anywhere and for the most part were very well written.

I've also heard it's popular to place the first two in the Kron Hills/Lortmil Mountains as a springboard for RTTTOEE. In my home campaign I placed the Sunless Citadel in Geoff and the Forge of Fury in western Bissel.

IMC I put the Forge of Fury in the Western Stark Mounds near the Crystalmists.

Placing the Sunless Citadel near Welkwood or the Gnarley Forest works well, too.
