So, I've been combing through the DLCS and AoM (the only two books I have) and I haven't been able to find -any- rules for Dragonmetal. It's supposed to be a special material, so far as I can tell, but I'm not finding anything on it. Any help? If they exist in 3.5, what/where are the rules for Dragonmetal? Thanks

It is on page 113-114 of the DLCS details all of the special material rules for the material.

As the designer of those rules, I would have to say they aren't very good. This is why sovereign press hasn't used them since in subsequent products.

My advice is to simply use mithril as a substitute for dragonmetal.

They don't seem tremendously horrific to me... Very much like Glassteel, from Races of Faerun - a semi-transparent magical metal alloy that acts effectively as both mythral and adamantine, which is effectively what dragonmetal is, only 3.0 rules for both. I never had problems with the 3.0 rules.

Hmm... dragonmetal as combining the attributes of mithril and adamantine. Why didn't I think of that? I'm going to do some revising when I get home.
