In the "Price of Courage" product preview (http://www.dragonlance.com/products/SVP-4203.aspx) Cam Banks wrote:

Now, look at the subject ;)

So, Onysablet leave the stage during SoS? or (without i knew it) it happens in the six months after the end of the war of the souls?

Bye!

Read the Novel Lake of Death by Jean Rabe, you will find your answer there.

Actually, depending on when you want Lake of Death to occur it wouldn't be all that hard to have Sable remain alive during Key of Destiny and Spectre of Sorrows. She doesn't have a direct role in either adventure, although she does get a mention in SoS. Things will change in Price of Courage, potentially, so by that stage you'll want to assume Lake of Death has taken place or tweak things a little if you don't.

Cheers,

heh My PC's are currently tracking down Sable's various lairs and trying to obtain as many magical items as they can, while also giving a neat share to the WoHS so they can get wizardry back up and running. Fledgeling wizards need those items of power when they pass the test.

Its been interesting seeing the Black Robe of the party explaining to the group why they even need to give *any* of the items to the wizards. Its nice to see loyalty out of a Black Robe, all the while he is going around and terrorizing select people, mainly Knights of Neraka. I think he's starting to grow a big dislike for them.

Most of the time when I read the novels, I try to incorporate the events into the campaign as soon as possible, just because I like "continuity". But there have been a few novels that I dont agree with, so I gloss over some stuff.

Onyx passing away leaves a whole swamp and a big region ripe full of adventure, etc. Its still a hotbed full of activity and evil though, as my PC's are finding out. Random encounters on a constant basis I think are wearing down their gusto for Dragon Lair searching.

Personally I think its only a small amount of time till the White goes away too. The Dragon Overlords' time is over...

So, since the Key of Destiny starts approximately 6 months after WoS, and

PRICE OF COURAGE POTENTIAL SPOILERS

I don't know how long it takes for the whole campaign to finish, but I wouldn't imagine it would take too long, then there should be no more mentions of any dragon overlords in the novels, right? If Gellidus dies in Price of Courage, and all the newer novels are starting a year or more after the WoS, then by then all Overlords are dead by the time the new novels come along.

Thank you for your suggestion. It sounds good!

Just an help now...
The book "lake of death" was not still translated in my language... (it is too recent)
Could you tell me, in a few words, something more about this novel? Just a bit to understand what happened...

Thank you!
