I fully admit to not be as well versed in Dragonlance lore as many different people here, but I do have certain niche interests in the world, and will voice my opinion on different topics from time to time. :P To answer the question though, I've been reading the novels for about 10 years or so, playing in some form of Dragonlance or other for about the same length of time. Played D&D since back in the early 80's in 'homebrew' worlds. Have played in numerous RPG worlds over the years (D&D, Shadowrun, Gurps, Rifts, TMNT, Robotech, Mutants & Masterminds, Torg, etc etc)

Started playing in 1984, but wasn't allowed to read the books until we were done with the modules. So I would say around 1986-87 is when I started reading them. Fell out of it around 1995 an got turned off by the post Dragons of a Summer Flame period. Recently started reading again but only books of earlier histories, nothing beyond Chaos War.

Oh about 75 years now...started out with "Fizban's Theories and Scientific Experiments as Regards the Dimensions of a Fireball". Then I had to escape my home planet (let´s not go into details. Suffice it to say I´m not a popular man there). I came to Earth and to my sorrow discovered that they had no idea what Dragonlance was. So I made a visit to two very talented writers and gave them the Stone Tablets of Dragonlance. The result was the Chronicles. There You have it.

I think it was 1990. My first dragonlance book was Legends2, was that Test of the Twins. I thought the cover looked cool. Last one I read was Dragons of Summer Flame too. In every campaign since, we pretend that never happened.

Would you like to mention the name of said planet? P.s. if you read my other thread I was lying, i have been reading almost 26 years, not almost 16.

If you read my other thread you can see the first Dragonlance book came out 21 years ago, but I was friends with one of the authors kids. I got to read in the developing stage.

Read it in the developing stage? Impressive! To support your claim why don´t you give us the name of the author whose kid you were friend with? Maybe then we´ll believe you? But then we might not...
