We are going to start a DL campaign soon and I was considering playing a Minotaur cleric of Kiri-Jolith, who has been raised by an old human knight.
I was wondering if anyone could point me to a good source on "The Mesure"?

There's a bit on it in the DLCS, then a few other scattered tidbits in other novels and 1st and 2nd Ed books. As far as I know there's no actual "Measure" So it's pretty much whatever you want. You might find some good starting points in Mongoose Publisher's Quinesential Paladin leatherette or the Paladins 2nd Ed leatherette. Those will give you an idea where to start but really in the end it's really up to you as the DM. All the measure is really is a way to tell whether a knight's actions are honorable or dishonorable. I think it contains a few chapters on chivarlous behavior and such. At least that's the way I've always seen it.

Now this is just my own interpretation of the Knights of Solamnia, but I've always thought that Immanuel Kant's Critique of Practical Reason describes a moral framework that suits the KoS quite well. (Kant was a German philosopher of the 18th century, and I've always seen the KoS as very German--and I don't think that's an accident.) His Groundwork for the Metaphysics of Morals is more accessible, however. Of course, "more accessible" for Kant really means "still not very accessible", but that's exactly why it works as "The Measure".

Thanks for your input. I obviously have an idea about how to play a knight, but I just wanted to see if there was anything published (official or unofficial).
I will just build on my recollection of the novels and the 2nd and 3rd edition CS and maybe even see what Kant can contribute with :D

Another thing you can use from real history is the Code of the Bushido. This was an honorable way of life for many Samurai and many of the codes and traditions reflect a knightly manner. I'm sure if you Google it you can find some good reference with it. I think the Mongoose publication The Complete Paladin has many of those ideas in it.
