I was wondering if any of you guys (and/or ladies) happen to know if the prices listed in the EHB are correct. There is one point where the price follows along with those listed in the DMG (ie a +10 sword cost= (10x10)x2000= 100,000 gp) but the EHB does not figure costs this way.

I have looked up the errata for the EHB but there have been no corrections for the price difference.

On another note, has anyone heard if they are going to put out a EHB revised to 3.5? I think that with all of the changes that have occured, that people would be willing to go for a new edition.

They are correct. The EHB also goes into how the prices are calculated. Epic prices are done differently than non-epic.

Unlikely - there was a booklet that WotC released, which had all the changes needed for translating a number of books - the ELH included, into 3.5e rules - for the explicit purpose of not rereleasing old material in a new edition unnecessarily. Now, if you want the rules up-to-date, check out the SRD - it not only includes the PHB, DMG and MM, but also rules from the XPH, ELH and Dei&Dem - those books are apparently considered "core" by WotC, and have been for a while. I've always held out the hope that other books would have their rules included into the SRD, but they've not added any more since.

lol, sorry. I remember having to keep track of the Military's Alphabet Soup. SRD means "System Reference Document" and Sysane has a link to it. It's the official set of rules that are covered under the OGL (Open Gaming License), and are free to download and use. Hell, you can even write other games or products with these rules found there - WotC is attempting to sort of do to gaming what GNU has done to computer operating systems with Linux (and Hurd) - with a few exceptions. The hang-up with this is actually over the d20 System trademark, which also can be found in the same area of their site as the SRD.

There's also the d20srd.org website, which also includes some rules from unearthed acana.
