Has anyone thought about using regional feats in Ravenloft like they have in Forgotten Realms?

Each domain have his own set of feat that the habitants often take.

But they're still from the same pool of generic feats. There is no Mordent-only feats. I was rather dissapointed by this when I read the Gazetteers, the lack of region and domain specific feats, spells and skills left me cold.
But then I got to thinking that much of the setting is less rule-based and less driven by new feats and spells. And what little new feats there are in the setting are much more universal. I don't see them adding much.

The Siglo netbook from Midway Haven has 100 Ravenloft feats, and quite a few are regional. But no, there are none in official material.

In fact, they are one for Valachan in gazeteer 4. But this is more the exception than the rule.

Personnally i prefer to keep the feats as general as possible, i hate when one of my players prefer to start his character in this region rather than this others because he prefer this regional feat.

Im not against increasing the global pool of feat, only to make them so particular that you have to come from XYZ village to get it.

Thanks for the note about Midway Haven. My female player really likes the Pacts of Vanity/Lust.

The (nicely done) bloodlines book has a number of feats that are family specific. If one was of a mind to, they could easily be adapted to domain based feats. For example there are fewer Boritsi outside their "homeland". You could possibly expand them instead to anyone in the domain of Borca.
