Hello,

I return to Ravenloft this fall with a new campaign, taking place in Staunton Bluffs.

As this domain is one of the lesser known ones, info is hard to find.
So my question is, can you tell me EVERYTHING you know about this domain?
Are there stats for the Darklord out there?
Any other thing?
Is the domain mentioned in any other publication than in the BB and Islands of Terror?

Just everything you can think of would be extremely valuable!

Besides, if you already adventured there, feel welcome to share your experiences with me!

Thank you in advance,

Rafael

Staunton Bluffs appeared in the sources you mentioned - with stats for the Darklord in "Islands of Terror" - but hasn't appeared since then. In fact, it's been "removed" from the official Ravenloft domain as it was felt it was too close in nature to Mordent. In other words - go hog wild and have fun because you won't be contradicting anything official once you use Staunton in "modern" Ravenloft.

...or attach the bluffs to Mordent itself. On the rare non-foggy day you can juuust see the mainland...

I always understood *Islands* in RL to be enclosed by the mists not by water... So I am toying with the idea of leading a group of Tepestani magic -users there, followed by the merciless Inquisition.

Of course, they pop out of the mistway on the bad side of Staunton Bluffs...

Perfect! Thank you, Morte!

I purchased IoT this weekend and I am eager to start preparing the campaign.

BIG SECRET REVEALED! (err, no)

Staunton Bluffs will be the main setting for a PbP campaign I am preparing.
Although I am not sure if I can complete the preparatory work before Christmas,
I'd be pleased to invite you all to join the game at the famous Cafe de Nuit. (www.fraternityofshadwos.com)

Here's the link to the first FoS thread detailing the concept a bit more:
