I had no idea where or if I could start a thread like this but here it goes. I am a DM in a Greyhawk Campaign and a player in another. Like all gamers there are many funny and crazy moments, and I thought it would be nice for people to share a few of those funny quotes and moments.

Here is one of mine,

My buddy was playing a Necromancer for the first time and had...ummm a moment im sure he would like to have back. He met up with another player who was a cleric of Wee Jas who was looking for a cadaver of Dead Mage when he was met with this question from the curious Necro-

"This cadaver your looking for, is it alive or dead?" - Ettenu the Necromancer, while conversing with a cleric of Wee Jas".

Four half-orcs had a romping good time clearing out the moathouse of the Temple of Elemental Evil. Well, half-orcs found the giant frog legs to be a great delicacy. Their initials spelled out GUGG, and they soon opened GUGG's Fine Eateries in the moathouse ruins. Built up a pretty good lizard man clientele, but patrons kept getting eaten.

Great post, OleOneEye. It reminds me of a moment I thought (as DM) was pretty funny. (The players would disagree.) The PCs were sailing aboard a 70-ft. long sailing ship with a crew of about 2 dozen NPC sailors (1st and 2nd-level experts or commoners). Their ship was attacked by a "sea hydra" (an 8-headed hydra with the aquatic subtype), which seemed to munch an average of 4 NPC sailors per round. The party had no fire or acid-based attacks, as no one decided to play a spellcaster (except the paladin, but his spells are minimal). So they struggled in vain to kill the sea hydra. As the ship slowly drifted by (the helmsman kicking and screaming in the jaws of two heads which were trying to rip him into bite-sized chunks), I described the heads not already chewing on someone as eyeing the main deck with a delighted look, and the hydra rubbing its flipper-like forelimbs together like a hungry diner at an all-you-can-eat buffet.
It looked pretty dismal, but after it munched half of the NPC crew (and took enough bites out of the PCs to have them running belowdeck), its many heads belched loudly in chorus and it swam off to take a nap. The hydra got the XP on that encounter.

I don't know offhand if chocolate is officially available in the Flanaess, but IMC, the adventurers discovered it was cultivated on the west coast of Oerik. They now import it, and on a recent trip to Chendl, they were catching up with an old friend who was with them on that trip to the far west (I was winging the conversation and hadn't even planned on mentioning it, btw). He informed them that there were three confectioners in residence (their distributor franchised out two more stores as chocolate proved quite popular with the ladies), and their buddy couldn't believe that such a store could actually stay in business. He said that it was called Chocolates, but since it was kind of a long name, the owner shortened it to C's...
