Can anyone point me in the direction of sources that have info on the Theocracy of Dimre? The only references I know of are in the LGG and FTA and those are extremely vague. I own Iuz the Evil, but haven't found any reference to it therein.

I've done my own gazeteer of the Bandit Kingdoms and all the references I looked at were more vague than the LGG. I think I found some info in an article on the Photstwood, possibly either from Oerth Journal or the Theocracy of the Pale website. If can find any more information, I'd certainly be interested. I apologise in advance because I can't find my bibliography to give full credit and I can't remember what I actually made up (if anything).

The Grand Theocracy of Dimre: Dimre includes the far end of the Nutherwood west of the Artonsamay River, and the plains sixty to seventy-five miles west of that wooded bend in the river. A small, powerful state, Dimre once raided Tenh and Nyrond through the forest. Founded prior to the Great Council of Rel Mord by the charismatic canon of a heretical apostate cult of Pholtus, Dimre is greatly reviled in the Theocracy of the Pale. Brave young templars are often sent by the Pale's theocrat to undermine the little realm. The appalling failure rate of such endeavours has led many to suggest (in private) that Dimre presents the Pale with a convenient means for disposing of challengers to the status quo. After several embarrassing defeats in the summer of 583 CY, even the armies of Iuz chose to let matters stand, signing a pact of non-aggression and alliance with Dimre. Dimre is technically governed from Stoink, though it is autonomous in reality.

Dimre's clergy, led by Szek Winvid (Clc12, LN), preaches that to understand the glory of Light, one must first walk hand-in-hand with Darkness. The Szek commands a well-trained army of 300 medium cavalry and 550 medium infantry. Many troops have some clerical training, which makes them formidable opponents on the battlefield. Its army keeps watch on all borders, allowing none but the faithful to pass into their sacred land. Similarly, the southern border is stoutly defended by the forces of Stoink to prevent raiding by overzealous minor priests from Dimre.
