#1zombiegleemaxJun 15, 2005 18:50:36 | Hi Everyone, I have been looking for the two old (some people think crappy) Dark Sun PC Games. -DarkSun: Shattered Lands -DarkSun: Wake of the Ravager I have found a couple "diskonly" copies on ebay, but if anyone has either one of these games used I would be interested in buying it from you. I don't really care if the box comes with it, just the necessary disks/cd and the manuals. Please send any info. to my email garnett1@gmail.com Thank you very much Lance |

#3zombiegleemaxJun 16, 2005 4:34:48 | They're not crappy! I just ran DS1 on my Dos emulator! Hell, DS2 is what got me into (C)RPGs after all... :D |

I remember not being able to finish the games because of some of those bugs - and the patches didn't do me much help either I managed to finish both... I played the two games so many times I could detect where were the bugs and just avoid then..(as you avoid stepping on a puddle, for example). These two games were responsible for dragging me into the RPG world... and I also hold them responsible for Dark Sun Brasil and all the love and admiration I have for this campaign setting!!! |
#6zombiegleemaxJun 20, 2005 16:19:26 | I definitely don't think they are crappy at all! I love these two games and I did not realize there were others out there that can say these DarkSun games were some of their first D&D experience. Thanks for the help. Lance |

#9balican_gigoloJun 23, 2005 19:35:05 | I just got my hands on DS1 not too long ago. It was awesome. I mean, to play a game from a setting that I've loved for a long time. Wow. I'm trying to get wake of the ravager but it's proving to be difficult. I tried the link provided above with Ds1 and 2 for free but could not make DS2 work at all. I read though that you could bring your PCs from DS1 into DS2. I'd like to know if it was a good thing about the game. comments? |
